Im 19 years old and i live in Indiana, located in the United States. i was wondering about crowdfunding for burst. i have been with burst since jan 2017. and i have enjoyed every second. but it is time for me to head off to college to get my degree in computer science and get a tech certificate in server administration. What is crowdfunding, and if i start one for this reason is it alright?
I will updates this down in the comments. please check them.

somone started one to gamble once and got it lol... so education is just fine, doesn't mean you will get it but it "alright"
-
where do i find the info on my crowdfund?
-
If anyone wants more info. i will gladly give it. i dont want to seem like a scam. (was just on the burstcoin discord and that was brought up) The school i am going to it Ivy Tech. total years is 4 for bachelors and 8 for masters. The state im going to college is in Indiana. my burst ID is BURST-9B4U-RNBF-X4AR-BHWEH. I am currently mining in BTFG pool.I will of course have to stop mining due to me being too busy to keep up with burst.
-
This is the burst wallet ID BURST-9B4U-RNBF-X4AR-BHWEH. i made the crowdfund through that wallet.

@darkcloudninja Mining in a pool, don't really takes time of you, so I would not say you would have to stop mining... xD
This seems a good use for the crowdfunds and if you promise to help manage the Burst network services (in the future) as your education goes by, maybe there will be some willing to invest in your education... I would try to build some reputation thought... Maybe confirm ID with haitch is not such a bad idea... ;D
-
Ah true. im not sure how i could help the network besides building a bigger rig with more space to mine to make the network larger. im not good at programming lol. I will chat with Haitch about confirming my ID. thanks for the suggestions.
-
@haitch Could we chat about confirming my ID for this crowdfund?
-
@darkcloudninja PM me
-
@haitch ok. you have been PM on discord and this weird forum chat.
-
Ok i have started the process to get verified. if anyone is interested in crowdfunding me. please let me know.
-
@gpedro i have started the process.
-
If i can convince crowetic. he might back me in the crowdfund. its unknown at this point though. im waiting for his response.
-
@darkcloudninja, you're not alone! I'm a Hoosier too. NW Indiana. And I attended Ivy Tech a million years ago after high school. Nice to "meet" you here!

Why are we both up at 2:17 AM? Which campus will you be attending?
-
Lol. was typing out my story so when i fully publish it on here, everyone will know what they are donating to. I will be heading to the Valpo Campus. @Evo
-
@crowetic here is the forum post i was talking about. :D

@darkcloudninja, cool! Congratulations. You'll drive right by my house on Route 2 to get to Valpo from Michigan CIty. Small world!
I'm not sure why you wouldn't be able to keep mining while attending school, unless you are using a laptop and you need to have it with you.
If you can manage to leave a machine running at home, you ought to be able to keep mining. I'm rarely at home and my rig just keeps on plugging away. The only things I did were to enable reboot after a power failure in the BIOS and I disabled automatic updates and Microsoft scheduled restarts. I basically ignore it now and the coins magically appear.
The crowdfund sounds nice, but a lot of them go unfunded. Mining might actually make you more in the long run, especially if you can add some more drives to the equation.
