fast block or corrupted file ?
-
@Agabus274 That error implies your plot is corrupt - you're submiting DL measured in days, and the pool is seeing it a DL of thousands of years. Try another pool, if you get the same or similar errors you'll want to replot. Which plotter did you use ?
-
@haitch I downloaded this one - Burstcoin_Wallet-AIO_Setup_0.3.9.6.exe
I used that to write the plots and mine. I'm obviously a beginner. Is there a better way to go about plotting?
-
@Agabus274 The AIO is fine, but which option did you use to mine, the default, the open CL .... ?
-
@haitch I don't remember.
-
@Agabus274 My xplotter files have been great, my GPU plotted miners have thrown some of those really bad block errors. This is a single ~7TB Plot? How long did it take to plot ?
-
@haitch It took me about close to 4 days to plot.
I usually use CPU/AVX when mining.
-
@Agabus274 CPU/AVX miner is reliable, try another pool and check for similar errors
-
@haitch Thanks haitch-
I have attempted to switch pools several times but getting "page can't be displayed' error. I have also been unable to open the online wallet for a couple days, could that be related?
-
@Agabus274 said in fast block or corrupted file ?:
Not related, someone just doesn't want my pools/wallets on line. I moved one of the wallets over to Solaris to see if it was more robust, the response on it was horrible, then I looked at the logs - just a constant stream of abusive queries. I now know what caused the linux wallet to fall over.
Remediation for this is in the works .........
-
@haitch I know you're busy and want to say thanks first off.
I still can't switch pools and when I attempt mining, nothing happens. Am I stuck until fixes are made for the pools, or is there something I can do on my end?
