Can you fit more plots on a drive if contents of the disk are compressed?
The option to select compressing the contents of the disk are under Disk Properties, then clicking the Advanced button in the Attributes box.

@vmantilla no, compressing plotfiles will not work ... you can only compress data if it has duplicate information in it ... like texts or pictures ... for plotfiles that will not work.

@vmantilla You are welcome ... you could try to zip a small plotfile ... and i would bet the resulting zip will even be bigger than the plotfile itself.

Yeah I even tried 7-zip with 1536 MB compression dictionary. It didn't compress. Come to think of it, I wonder how windows 10 memory compression handles mining or even plotting staggers
