trying to plot another drive with burst client but keep getting an error

  • total newb here. Plotting om my c: drive went ok, but when I use the 'write plots' command at the bottom of the window for drive f:, I get the following in a command window:

    '*C:\Program' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
    operable program or batch file.

    C:\WINDOWS\system32>*

    What's happening here? I've tried several times.

  • @Paulk405 How and what are you using to plot your hard drives?

  • I am using the little"write plots" tab that is at the bottom of the burst client window. it opens up another window from which I choose drive f:. I then hit the "plot this drive" button and from there it asks how much of the drive I want to use and how many of the available cores. I can then hit the button to plot or I can fill the check box on left and go into expert mode where it asks about starting nonce and threads. I am running this on a PC using Windows 10. (btw it is a 2TB flash drive. program says there's 1,953GB available) I was wondering If I needed to edit the .bat file it installed on the drive. this is what's in it now:
    @setlocal
    @cd /d %~dp0
    XPlotter_avx.exe -id (my id#) -sn 603000000 -n 800000 -t 6 -path H:\plots -mem 6G
    @pause

    btw, why is the path H:\plots? when it's on my F: drive? is it a virtual drive?

  • I am now trying to use the xplotter but still can't get it to work this is an older computer(dual core) so I have tried -t 1 and -t 2. I've tried leaving out the -n parameter, set it to zero and used the 800000 that came in the bat file I keep getting the same error. alt text I had a picture of the screen and error but it seems to have vanished. I'll just try pasting the link here:
