Looks like some major investors are getting into Burst, this is a huge jump in network capacity almost doubling in the last 10 days.

Also I see Thailand in the statistics on the top in AIO Client Downloads.
https://sourceforge.net/projects/burstwindowswallet/files/stats/timeline?dates=2017-06-09Hasn't been Thailand the main country of HDD production? ^^
-
@daWallet yes, i remember when they had floods there and production was severely reduced, it pushed up HD prices world wide at the time.
-
@iKnow0 any statistics about how much is / was 1TB/USD ? right now it should be around 1TB for 20 USD
-
Hi everyone I'm newbie to burst from Thailand. i think i'm one of the statistics LOL.
-
@mrceebo-0 i use price comparsion page to check how prices of hdd develop over time ... quite stable ... even if currently hdds are quite cheap ... not sure if it will be a constant downtrend or if price will rise again like in last years.
e.g. for:
Seagate Archive HDD v2 8TB, SATA 6Gb/s (ST8000AS0002)
https://geizhals.eu/?phist=1204027Western Digital WD Red 6TB, 3.5", SATA 6Gb/s (WD60EFRX)

@tonE53TH How cheap can you buy drives?
-
-
Well, I guess my goal of reaching 150TB needs to happen faster than I thought...
-
@socalguy iam stucked in transition from 10 TB --> 100 TB ...
