New pools - pool.burstcoin.biz & pool.burstcoin.eu
-
@gpedro delete "space" in address after //
http:// pool.
-
WTF there is already a 270TB miner on the new pool?
-
@haitch said:
point your miner to pool.burstcoin.biz
Is this achieved by manually typing pool.burstcoin.biz in the "Choose pool" field in the AIO wallet?
-

@haitch thanks for the new pool! the other one was getting really crowded and i was getting not confirmed dl a couple times and when i checked the pool website it actually did not recieve my dl and i would lose dls. But this one is super fast!
-
yeah i guess i did it right. just had to wait nice pool
-
@Propagandalf - the new pools are not currently in the AIO, they'll be in the next version, but I don't know if you can manually add one.
-
How long does it take for the blocks to pass so I can start mining on the new pool? Ive been waiting for an hour.
-
@kikiyai Normally it's 16-20 minutes. Which pool did you transfer to, and what is your miner showing ?
-
@haitch I transfered to http://pool.burstcoin.biz/
Nevermind I just got in, but in wallet it has no confimations.
-
@kikiyai There appears to be an issue with the new wallet - two of the four online wallets got hung up on a block, the other two processed it without issue. Depending on which wallet you're looking at you may not see the confirmations.
-
@haitch I have tried to get 1.2.4 to run for a while. I have noticed that the db file freezes at 3.05GB every time. Sometimes it takes a day others only a few blocks. It seems to use a lot more RAM then 1.2.3.
I think there was somewhere to edit how much ram to allocate to java but I can't remember if anyone knows. I feel like I did this in the past?
-
@crutsy I'm not seeing any increase in memory usage, all of mine are at 200-300MB RAM. To limit the ram available to Java, add an -Xmx parameter to the launch file.
To save on sync time, you can always download a mostly up to date wallet DB from: http://db.burst-team.us

Thanks that was it!My system has some odd java ghosts or gremlins in it
-
@crutsy Java can be a temperamental beastie ........
-
So if we can't see the confirmations does that mean they won't be accepted?
-
I'm new to this so forgive stupid questions
