Mining from 2 pc
-
Hi! I have a question. I have actually plotted 1.5TB in one pc and 1.8TB in another one. If i will start miners from both of them, what appears?
-
@DevilAngel it will work fine, the two miners have the same account and reward assignment.
-
@iKnow0 So, the miners will cooperate like one in a total of 3.3TB? -
-
@DevilAngel Correct! However, the capacity displayed by a pool will show one capacity or the other not the total.
-
Ok! Thank you very much :) I love the miracle of technology :P

Good evening,
I just wanted to ask if you just plot one hard drive and copy the file to the other
(In case you have two seagate from 4 TB .. one for each pc).
It saves a lot of time in this case

@pollo I don't know exactly but, I tried to do something like this with the same HDD. I plotted about 200 GB then moved it in another folder. Then, i tryed to re plot and move the new file to that folder, the miner said error because he didn't recognized the blocks, because for it they was the same blocks. I don't know if the HDD's have the same or different blocks.. but in theory if the copy paste from 1 to another works, it's a very benefit in time. Say us if it works!

@pollo No. Each drive needs a unique plot file. Copying a plot will not help you.
