When is a Pool not a Pool?

just looks like a pool of retards to me
Gotta reply since its outta the bag now

@RichBC IMO solo mining is overall good for network and in long time it should be even more beneficial then mining in pool as you don't have to pay pool-fee. Although if network will ever be huge (like 5000PB) then it could take ages to hit a block thus we would need to switch back for pools^^

Implies that you know something about this?

@RichBC Fascinating... How many TB have they got in their private pool?
-
@Propagandalf I would guess about 650TB and with the expansion to OG Burst I would guess they could hit 1PB in a few weeks time?
Rich

@RichBC the og burst 2 one is the 100tb miner they had from lex4all lol. i know that much..
-
@Lexicon Yes I had guessed as much. in practice nothing wrong with managing their miners on a Pool, it's just that with BN I always look for the hidden agenda, so still not quite sure why they had this big bashing of Pools before making the move?

@RichBC i have a feeling they are doing this because they no longer have ninja which was 51% of the network. it also probably displeased them that my pool was above theirs. as they no longer have network dominance.
i know they spoke to a few of my miners to try and convince them to move over to their pool.
just more petty games i reckon
-
@Lexicon Yes my initial reaction was that it was due to the loss of ninja, sometimes the answer is the obvious one.
So I guess this was a two pronged attack on their part. Tell Big Miners that they should be going Solo to reduce the size of other pools, while enticing miners to their Pool and setting up a private one.
So @tross what do you think of this? Like I said to you in the chat, don't worry about ccminer, worry about what BN are doing.

@RichBC humm ... i think i called this one about a week ago wile in PM's with you LMAO
-
@Gibsalot Yes you did :-)
-
Rich need to worry about both lol. What I think is this ddos will undermine Burstcoin. Could also tie in with BN wanting people going solo who knows. This is the second time my pool got hit when it was doing good. I have a pool that excepts most miner shares just like lexicon. But others are scared of server performance. Why am I not concerned because if you setup stuff right there are no concerns. Plus if your running Lexicon code you know what you have under the hood!

My theory:
With the Bitsler Casino integration happening there are going to be a ton more transactions on the network. If the pools are being DOS'd the Solo miners are going to be the ones who carry the load.
When Burst is integrated there is the possibility of thousands of new users. If the pools start getting Dos'd there is not enough solo miners right now to carry all of the new users. The new users will get frustrated and stop using Burst.
Thats what I think the agenda is.
Not sure why they are not solo mining themselves.
I could be completely wrong, but this is what I had come up with while stewing on the motives.
