Starter Questions about mining and plotting

  • Good evening,

I'm pretty new to Burst and spend the last couple days to learn the basics and plot some diskspace(which I have way more than I'm using atm, so a good chance). Now I have a couple questions about Plotting and Mining and hope somebody can help me.

    1:
I plotted on 3 different hard drives and now I think something is odd. For me it looks like the plots are counting backwards... Maybe I've just missinterprated the system... so can someone maybe tell may what I did wrong?

    J:\Burst\plots\12622157971762568593_0_727168_727168 - 186gb
    J:\Burst\plots\12622157971762568593_72168_733824_733824 - 187gb
    H:\Burst\plots\12622157971762568593_733825_3999048_3999048 - 1tb
    B:\Burst\plots\12622157971762568593_3999049_780480_780480 - 316gb
    B:\Burst\plots\12622157971762568593_780480_1236096_1236096 - 199gb

    EDIT:
Here I screen shot how I understand it,

I just realised, that I may have to add the second and the third number, to get to the end and then add 1 to get to the next start. Is that true?

Edit2: If this is true, why has my first file, near to the same nonces as my fourth file, while being half as big?

2: I tried to find a fitting pool for my 1.8tb atm and 4tb, which is my first goal. I found this spreadsheet. I tried pool.burstcoin.sk and there is an estimated recommend pool size of around 3tb. With 1.8tb I only get something like every 20 blocks a hit. Did I missunterstand this?

    3:
I'm using Blago's miner and yesterday I alway got the info, who won the block. Since today I always get "Winner: Connect function failed with error: 10060"

What does this mean and why do I get this? I didn't find anything about this.

I know this are probably some really strange questions, but I'm searching for an answers since 2 days, so you may understand why I ask them here.

    Thanks in advance

    Shoiji

PS: Is just recongized, that the first 2 files are overlapping

EDIT: One more questions, just came to my mind. Does it matter, wether I have jumps in my plots or not?

Looks like your connection to Burst - Efficient HDD Mining was lost, please wait while we try to reconnect.
