Jminer problem Warn 5676

  • 2016-07-07 20:29:35.712 WARN 5676 --- [ networkPool-1] b.j.c.n.t.NetworkRequestMiningInfoTask : Unable to get mining info from wallet: java.io.EOFException: HttpConnectionOverHTTP@7316a348(l:/192.168.1.170:54898 <-> r:pool.burst-team.us/216.165.179.45:8124,closed=false)[HttpChannelOverHTTP@5c82ff21(exchange=HttpExchange@2d218c59 req=TERMINATED/null@null res=PENDING/null@null)[send=HttpSenderOverHTTP@b830f2d(req=QUEUED,snd=COMPLETED,failure=null)[HttpGenerator@4dc9f1f6{s=START}],recv=HttpReceiverOverHTTP@6796499(rsp=IDLE,failure=null)[HttpParser{s=CLOSED,0 of 0}]]]

    I keep getting this error all of a sudden with jminer, tried restarting the program and it still continued. Anyone know what might be causing this?

    @vile The miner requests the miningInfo from pool every 2 sec. depending on 'refreshInterval' setting (if you changed it, do net set it too low)
    http://216.165.179.45:8124/burst?requestType=getMiningInfo

    if you get this error once a minute, it is no problem, if you get it nearly every second ... there seams to be a connection problem.

  • It kept saying it for a while now it seems to be back to normal again.

    maybe there was heavy load on the pool, or another network issue ... the exception of the miner just tells you, that it could not receive the mining info ... what is mostly not a issue of the miner.

  • I get the same error message ALOT. The only difference is mine shows as Warn 6700. Increased refreshInterval from 2000 to 3000 and connectionTimeout from 12000 to 24000. Still same error, so I set it all back to default.

    I also get another error B.j.c.n.t.NetworkRequestLastWinnerTask last winner 'N/A', walletServer out of sync.
    If it's a 'Time Clock' issue, my computer is time synced with 'time.nist.gov'

  • I have switched to Blagos miner for the time being, jminer seemed to have run alright through the day got a few payouts, but when I got home from work I am seeing the error a lot again. Although quite a bit slower Blagos miner at least runs stable without the errors.

    Its weird sometimes it will mine fine then I will get multiple lines of the same error above.

    @vile I was updating the online web wallets to the 1.2.4 release, which was sucking up a lot of my host bandwidth. The update is complete now, so let me know if you're still getting it.

    H.

  • Haven't it seen it for a while now, that must have been it. Thanks for the info @haitch

  • I am still constantly getting this error with jminer, not sure what is up with it. Are there any other gpu miners besides jminer for burstcoin?

  • admin

    @vile, no there are no other GPU miners. However Blago's latest is almost as fast as the jMiner.
