THE ANN - 402 and I

@ArthurThePug said in THE ANN - 402 and I:
Could you walk us through how to transfer your asset from my Burst wallet to a BTS wallet please.
I'll make a video a few days before June 20'th and a full post about it :)
In the meantime, sit back and relax. We're in no rush

they'r mine!-)

That 600k share sale is Focus cashing out on the free shares he got for FLEX. Just like he did with the shares i donated to BURST4All ...and the ones from the development fund... come to think about it, all the assets i helped out and he could touch , have cashed out from 402. That's 10-15 BTC for ya right there . That's what you get for trying to help lol
-
@nameless well on a positive side your help to me still in my wallet and i shamelesly hope it helps others (even if i have no statistics how many people use stuff i make) :D
-
@Ip85 I don't understand why he doesn't suspend the trading of assets here, surely at the current price of 1 burst each he will massively dilute the value of the asset on BTS, assuming we get a decent stake there with our current shares.
-
This post is deleted!
-
@ArthurThePug i can't suspend it...it's a free market...
and there is no dillution. the BTS version won't have more shares that the current one. your stake stays as is
-
@nameless that is very good to hear. I said I'll never buy another asset here, but my finger is getting twitchy
-
@ArthurThePug lol
yeah ... i was done selling 402 a long time ago. there's no incentive or point in making more shares.
nothing changes in the asset structure after the move except for the platform. if you own 1%now, you'll have the same stake over in BTS
-
@nameless Ok I've doubled my stake (small potatoes). And I don't care if you're a gypsy, as long as it's the feisty kind in 'From Russia, with Love'

lol thanks for that
i'm not a gipsy actually but i do have gipsy blood in me. fun story:
11 years ago i was in a fucked up mountain rescue accident (ironically i was the one who was supposed to do the rescue) . But part of the cliff broke off and the falling debris knocked me off the cliff. I was badly injured and needed an on-spot blood transfusion. The only compatible donor was a gipsy who just happened to be there lol. So every time i get an erection now, i think of him because i have his blood now :D

Another gem that will sit in my vault full of things that @nameless will eventually regret saying :D
-
I'll buy 350,000 402 Assets at .5 burst if anyone wants out.
-
@crutsy saw your sell order for 1 burst.. having second thoughts?
-
@darindarin haha na just figured why not post an offer I'd take some back. Can't place decimal orders on the AE
-
@crutsy i think you bring up a question i have been wondering recently, this asset was issued with 8 decimal places making the order book have 0. don't get me wrong 8 places on the order book is a mess, but say 4 and 4 seems good (see ardor tokens on nxt chain).
additional it seems liquidity would be easier with a wider range for offers and bids.
i supposed hindsight is 20/20 and who thought that the value of burst would rise so quickly, i have just been wondering.
-
OMG @damncourier is back! :D
You're right on the decimals part... up to a point. I made it this way in anticipation of a sudden AE crash so that there is still at least a bit of price control.
The BTS version of the asset has 4 decimals only ...although i discovered that no matter how many decimals i would have given the asset, the price can still go down to 8 decimals. BTS is fun!
-
@nameless aw didn't know you cared!
i don't mean to beat a dead horse on this one and i understand your point of some control (was trying to remember the satoshi value of burst at the time this issue), but in the market it is frustrating to have no room to bid, either resign to get in line behind every one to get 1 burst shares or pay the scalpers you would be lining up behind 2 bursts for the share.
haven't installed bts wallet yet, interested enough to give it a try though.
-
@damncourier , it's true..it is frustrating. truth be told, i have no idea what the better solution would have been. In a way this method was great because it protected investors from a huge fall, at the same time it fucked the free market aspect a bit by limiting the minimum price... i don't even know what to think any more :)
