@kmaxkmax good idea really but my burst wallet right now can't afford to make another asset, unless i use some of the buyback
I don't think its neccesary to create a new asset though, but ill talk to the main investor.
-
ok, i got a confirmation from the main investor, and he said sure, so I will think of how I will issue the assets, and how this is going to work, dividends, drives, and other fun stuff. :P

Make a plan and release the shares when I'm awake :)

Hey, ok we are ready to release shares, here's how the new asset is going to work now. Here we go ;P
We will release the first 100k shares @ 1 BURST ( to start up and buy the first 9 drives, looking at this https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822178951&cm_re=8tb ) ( which will get us to 72TB )
( op plz ) XD
Dividends: 80%
Reinvestment to other assets:10%
Maintenance/Fee:10%
Wallet: BURST-VZ8F-UCFY-RFKN-AZUL9Anyways, I think that's all the information, I have to say, and I will update the OP about this! thanks!
~HiDevin <3
EDIT: THE BUYBACK WALLET WILL BE SENT TO POLO FOR PURCHASING THE DRIVES TOO!
-
@HiDevin looks awesome!
-
@HiDevin Sorry to stop your enthusiasm a Little bit, but Nahh.
72TB, 288TB and all that its not that easy and far from different than running one or two external USB drives 8TB on an existing machine or older Laptop you are probably using currently. You Need additional Cards, PLENTY of time to arrange everything plus other Things I forgot to mention to get 300TB running in a reasonable way, this would include prob also buying a new Machine etc. etc. . How is this all goin to be funded?
With all respect I think you are underestimating the effort it would take a Little bit ...
-
@Marc Ah, thanks for asking for this, I actually never thought about this, I was thinking to use my rx 480 to gpu mine burst, and optimize all the plots, I would think that it will be enough to run it, and actually thanks for asking all these questions, I wouldn't have thought about this,
TBH, I was thinking that I can connect all these drives using usb 3.0 hubs https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA1DS17W9014&cm_re=usb_hub_3.0_powered
I was going to use my existing computer right now ( fx 6300, and rx 480 ) to make the BURST monster :D
edit: Do we need dual cards? because I think the rx 480 direct gpu plotting is enough for the computer, though I doubt I need to buy a new computer for this, @Marc thanks for asking these questions.
-
You aint seriously planning to connect 300 TB via 27 USB drives to the probl. HP Pavilion 6 you are currently mining on, no? :-)
-
@Marc No, I'm mining on a desktop :P, do you think 300TB would connect to the computer I listed above, that im using right now?
-
@HiDevin I dont know, there are plenty of other techs out there who can give more detailled and proper answer to that question than me.
Also, giving some proof of the Hardware you own would seriously improve your chances to find the Investors you are looking for, at least in my opinion.
Anyway best to you and good luck with your asset.
-
@HiDevin I seriously doubt you will be able to connect 300Tb in Externals to only one machine and mine them in a reasonable time tbh... It all depends on how much USB3.0 controllers you have in your board... I don't advise to connect more than 4 USB3.0 hdds to one single USB3.0 controller...
-
@Marc Sure thing! ill update OP with a picture of my rx 480 too, I'm pretty sure, i can hit 25-30k nonces on my rx 480 and thanks for asking me this questions :)
It's a xfx 4gb rx 480 :P.
-
@gpedro thanks for the suggestion, edit: got that wrong, give me a second going to count, but i know i have 2 usb 3.0 ports in the back and 1 in the front XD
also i will put delay the 200k shares and all the other shares., till i get a new machine to put HDDs on, thanks for telling me
-
@HiDevin Maybe you can put 5 hdds per hub idk... You will have to try it out but more than 12-15 hdds in your current machine seems difficult with 3 controllers...
If you have PCI slots available, maybe you can buy extra USB controllers and hook up the rest of the drives you want... All depends on how much available PCI slots you have... If you have SATA ports available you can also buy a bay and put some internals in there ;D
Good luck!
-
@gpedro thanks! maybe i could hook up to 5 hdds per hub, but ill see when i get it, xD, anyways thanks for asking the questions! :D
edit: I'm pretty sure we can fit 100TB into this machine at the max, if I was using 4-5 each hub :P thanks for telling me, and ill test it out as soon as i can
-
We already have enough sales to buy our first 8TB drive already O.O, im sending to polo right now, for I can buy the drive on NewEgg, thanks for the support guys!
