Some stuff i had to clear i guess

@nameless Your showing the funds backing 402 was appreciated, and for those that missed it - there is a significant amount of BTC backing 402, distributed over multiple platforms.

As for the ForEx funds, I'm not going to ask for a look at them, I trust you in your management of the asset, but if your investors want it, I'm willing to be the observer. Think I have sufficient credibility .... ;-)

@nameless I have seen it. Looked legit. :)

  • This is what I'm seeing right now for Burst.
    alt text

We will see if any Bulls want to support at 560. Seeing how it broke down the support (560) My guess is for the price to fall below the 500-450.

    We will see.

  • I forgot to mention the adsactly backing :D

people know how tight we are. people see how big adsactly is. if i fuck up, he steps in. simple

  • @nameless I was going to point that out actually :)

  • @nameless I'm sorry to hear about you being banned from BN and for your loss... It looks like it's just the Adam's and friends corner... No one can do nothing that they believe is for the best if it goes against him... That's pretty sad!
Well i guess we will see you more often around here ;D

  • The sudden rise of Burst has left me in a huge loss, because the AE got totally drained, there is hardly any liquidity and dividends are negligible to say the least..if I had just kept the 2 million burst I had and sold them on the high I would be now 14 btc better off.. I didn't think at the time of the rise there would be a killing off of the assets, and I as I was at my mother's I couldn't login to check anyway properly.. so for me it has been one big experiment that has gone totally wrong and I find myself on the losing end with Burst..I have some assets but most are worth peanuts, cannot be sold or traded properly and most barely give dividends anymore.. only a few.. so basically I am stuck at huge loss..oh well, lesson learned..Adam made himself and a lot of people money, but for me, it was a huge loss.. I will slowly try to recover ..how and when I have no clue..but I am still around, just not feeling too great at the moment.

  • @qibucks You was cutoff in the price of share yes, but now your holdings worth more in both BTC and USD or EUR or am I wrong? At least this was what happened with me, but you are right, this cutoff is a bit hard, but i am sure we will pass it and the markets will stabilize and this will possibly bring some diversity because we all know now that a FIAT priced assets have to be his value directally tied with FIAT so this kind of cutoffs could be turned around in the assets that need it and users be aware of the risk involved... And new assets with different concepts will most likely appear shortly ;D
Hope it cheers you up?! ;P

  • @qibucks Really feel for you, it has been a tough learning experience for all of us. fortunately I was about 50:50 Assets and Burst so was able to sell, however selling at the Top is easy in hindsight, not so easy at the time, unless you are Adam driving the price up.

So in practice I was selling some all the way up. Really not sure what the average was but I stated at 300 and ran out of Burst at 850.

Have now been selling as many of my non Burst related Assets, lesson learnt here, and have sold some more this Morning at 550 - 600.

We will now wait to see what happens next, but rapidly running out of people that I trust to run Assets or my ability to choose them.

  • @RichBC , trying to understand what the consternation is all about?

The price of Burst went up and the Asset Exchange collapsed? Why did that happen? Were people selling their asset to use the Burst to convert to fiat? I don't get why the Asset market "collapsed". My pile of Burst in the wallet doubled in value against the USD in the last week, so I'm not complaining, but then again I don't own any Burst assets. Could someone give me a 50 word summary statement? Thx.

  • @rds Quite simply people wanted Burst in order to sell it into the price rise. For a lot of people heavily invested in Assets that meant selling at whatever price. Sellers outnumbered Buyers in what is a thinly traded market, price has to crash.

@rds Yes, people were/are dumping shares to cash out of Burst. Despite the increase of Burst value, the US$ value of my asset portfolio as calculated by burstfolio.com took a big hit - Burst is way up, but the portfolio value went down.

  • @haitch , but I read people saying that the divs on assets dried up? Why?

  • admin

@rds Assets that don't earn their income in Burst but instead trade Altcoin X for Burst, are going to be paying out significantly fewer Burst, even though it's the same fiat value. Assets that earn directly in Burst, like mining assets, however, will continue to payout the same amount of Burst, which is a significantly higher fiat value.

Assets like mine and Focus's Flex which are based on a mixture of assets will do ..... I don't know, time will tell.

  • @rds Problem is people often want to ROI in terms of Burst and not in USD value, and when payout becomes smaller in Burst it takes more and more time to ROI.

  • @haitch , ok, got it, but until I can buy my bread at the grocery store with Burst, the fiat value is what counts and the divs are still paying the same fiat value, so I don't see the big concern. Markets move always, this one is no different.

  • admin

@rds it's an investor education thing to show them they're still getting the same fiat ROI as they were, but also the realization that they would have gotten a much higher profit if they'd just held the Burst instead of investing in an asset.

HAha, it's always easy to see what should have been done after the fact, that' why they call me Capt. Hindsight :)

@rds Yep, if we all knew what the market was going to do, we'd all be friggin' rich.

  • @rds , here's an exercise in hindsight:

Last week or so ago I took ~$3600 in USD, converted it into BTC at price who cares and immediately bought Burst at 177 sats. I sent that Burst to someone who I was buying an item from him (you know who/what I'm referring to). Today, at Burst=500 sats, did I pay 500/177*3600=$10,000? Also, if the seller converted the Burst to fiat anywhere between the 177 and 500 did he lose value? I say no to both. I took fiat I didn't have invested in Burst to exchange for an item. The seller ultimately wanted the Burst for fiat to pay for something else, the fact that either of us could have made out better than we did is only a matter of hindsight.
