Incorrect request when changing reward assignment?

  • I am currently plotting my HDD and I waited a bit and I plotted about 10+ GB right now, still has to plot about 250 GB. I want to start mining and see how it goes but when I follow the video for the Burst wallet client online to change the reward assignment to me; I get this: {"errorDescription":"Incorrect request","errorCode":1}

    I did everything to make sure I "activated" my public key/Burst address which solved the Account access failed error.
    What's the issue? I'm using the Burst wallet, Online Wallet since Local Wallet seems to be having issues.

    @p0int_scale You can only do reward assignment every 4 blocks. For more detailed help please provide your accountId, so we can look into it.

    For the account mentioned in your signature, it has currently reward assignment to itself:
    http://localhost:8125/burst?requestType=getRewardRecipient&account=BURST-X8VW-QYSL-NQBA-4E8LE

    {"rewardRecipient":"2758679861088131964","requestProcessingTime":0}

    http://localhost:8125/burst?requestType=getAccount&account=2758679861088131964

    {"unconfirmedBalanceNQT":"400000000","guaranteedBalanceNQT":"400000000","effectiveBalanceNXT":400000000,"accountRS":"BURST-X8VW-QYSL-NQBA-4E8LE","name":"p0int_scale","forgedBalanceNQT":"0","balanceNQT":"400000000","publicKey":"ec1aa353c63c5537e939cff86db5c1af7dbdeafe7e046d532cb2e30aaf966772","requestProcessingTime":1,"account":"2758679861088131964"}

    You may change it via http://localhost:8125/rewardassignmentshort.html

    If you do not have local wallet running, you may want to choose one of this burstcoin.cc (ensure it uses https)

  • @luxe Alright so I'm using an HTTPS wallet (wallet3.burstnation.com:8125) and I started mining on pool.burst-coin.us. How do I tell if it's mining? The Plots are done, I let them run while I was sleeping.

    Here's what it currently says on the console:
    10:23:44 New block 357051, baseTarget 492476, netDiff 37210 Tb
    10:23:45 Thread "C:\Burst\plots" @ 0.8 sec (81.9 MB/s) CPU 65.44%

    10:26:33 New block 357052, baseTarget 522514, netDiff 35071 Tb
    10:26:34 Thread "C:\Burst\plots" @ 0.9 sec (72.3 MB/s) CPU 64.97%

    Does that mean I'm mining now?

    Edit:
    The miner window said something about me having to change my reward assignment but I tried and it's still giving me the same error.

  • I figured out the problem. Well I didn't do much.
    It magically started working so I guess I fixed it.
    You can close this thread now.
