BTFG Burst Pool: The Pool for Small Miners
-
https://discord.gg/UeqDz6p Thats the pool's discord server
-
I dunno why we been paid for so long but i've decided to mine solo for awhile until payments are done. is 16tb too big for this pool?
-
@ZapbuzZ Not at all. And sorry I couldnt reply to this earlier (With forums being silly and all that)
It tends to be luck of the draw really. We starting to find more blocks as more miners show up, but at the time you joined, we were averaging about 8 blocks every 10 days (we found quite a few blocks last few days actually.) That would be 1 block we win for every 800, so the numbers you saw there were not unreasonable for our pool.
That being said, a few more miners have joined and we now have found 17 blocks in last 10 days, which is about 1 every 211 blocks now.

Testing this pool. Amazing so far!
-
What happened to the pool's website?
-
@Egidius what do u mean its fine :o
-
how this pool good in term of payment ?
maybe will joint only 5 tb have
-
@Egidius hows it goin on there i hat a few tb i need a new pool since news asset went down
-
Alright I joined the pool :)
Only have 250gb right now but working on plotting another 4tb! :D
-
just about to join this and cant... the site is down
-
I'm having the same problem... the pools list says there are miners but web browsers only return 'connection has timed out.'
Really looking forward to btfg being back up ^_^
-
@Acanterelle The observer is not 100% accurate:
-
The number of miners is the number of miners that have their Reward Recipient set to the pool - it does not mean they are active miners or the pool is active.
-
The Blocks found and Blockfinders is based on the stats of the individual miners registered at the pool over the last 10 days. If I had mined 100 Blocks over the last 10 days, then joined this pool today, the observer would show that pool as having found those 100 blocks.

Thanks for the clarification, I suspected the number wasn't right... the nose dive from somewhere in the middle right down to last position kind of a giveaway ;).
-
@Acanterelle Yeah, don't know what's happened - but the pool does not seem to be active currently.
-
Apologies! My server motherboard decided to burn out (literally). I have moved it to a vps which was on the agenda for a while, this just pushed it foward. It is now back up.
If you cant access through burst.btfg.space, it is because dns hasnt propagated to you yet. You can use 45.58.62.236 instead (it is the ip of the server)
-
btw, https://discord.gg/UeqDz6p is the discord for the pool, I try to update issues in there first
-
@Valareos thanks for the update on the situation. For miners, I'd recommend sticking with the DNS name, VPS IP's can change. To clear the old address from your DNS cache, open a command prompt as admin and do "ipconfig /flushdns"
-
@haitch god i hope the vps address dont change too much, it means me having to manually update the dns entry each time :P
-
@Valareos It depends on your provider, most have static IPs, but I have seen AWS servers change IP for the guest VM.
-
@haitch running on solvps (cause unlimited bandwidth is included with price :P)
