BTFG Burst Pool: The Pool for Small Miners
-
@Valareos anytime mate. :)
-
Well here is a bit of good news after yesterday blunder!
BTFG Pool Won the Ant Lotto! Not only did that get our buffer back from the error, but the rest got distributed as mining revenue to our miners! Not only that, due to rounding error, our account still has 9k in it, meaning 6k (minus pending), will be added in to the next block reward we find!
-
@Valareos this has been the best paying pool i have been with! thanks like a TON better payouts almost double some days
-
I want to try out my 400 GB as a start - just to see if it works. After that I wanna upgrade significantly. Do you recommend I join this pool here?
Plotting is taking forever though...I'm using a basic internal drive, 9500 nonces/min - been plotting for over 2 hours and I'm at 27%. Is this normal???
-
@Seed88_ 9500 nonces/min is good enough .. it's normal to take about 8 - 10 hrs .. its a one time job , then you would be ready to go and mine..
wish you best luck ;)
-
@zack AH i see - so once you plot - you never have to do it again? So if had multiple drives connected - can I plot them simultaneously? I'm guessing the CPU workload would be shared between them and it would take a lot longer than 8 hours?
-
@Seed88_ once you plot it ... its done .. forever :D
you can plot more than one drive at same time .. but i don't suggest so .. you have to make sure your nonces never override over plots or it'll be useless.. thats it.
-
@zack ah ok. Feeling a bit more confident about it now. I assumed you can upgrade all at once - but now I understand it's gradual - unless you have multiple PCs which I don't.
Thanks dude.
-
@Seed88_ yes it's gradual .. but you still can force plots to starts from where the first ends.. no multiple pc's needed
for example:
plot1 >> from nonce 000001 >> to 001000
plot2 >> from nonce 001000 >> to 002000
plot3 >> from nonce 002000 >> to 003000that's how it works.
-
@zack I see - is that so the nonces are not repeated between drives?
I'll try and figure out what to edit. Last question, I'm using an I7 2600 - would using my GPU to plot be much faster? I have a GTX 970
-
@Seed88_ i'm not an expert in this .. but i guess your cpu would be faster .. you may give it a try and compare nonces/min.
-
If I may add too take the day or two and plot the biggest plot you can. 400gb is okay but if you can increase it better in the long run. My i5-4570 does 5800 nonces/min so I plot 3tb (2.72tb) in less than 2 days. My 950gt can plot better however I like the xplotter and cpu for now. (means not an expert with gpu's) A week as gone by and I managed to plot 3 3tb drives. Done
-
@Valareos seems as if my miner can't connect to the server, what's happening atm :?
-
-
@Hitti2 I don't mind the downtime, I like this pool due to the help for small miners
-
I posted info in our discord channel, forgot to put it here too. sorry...
https://steemit.com/btfg/@valareos/btfg-pool-expected-downtime-3-pm-4pm-edt
We were down for all of 20 min as our vps replaced hardware
-
Hey, been 3 days since my last payout. whats goin on my dood?
-
same here :(

same here :(
I have such poor luck with pools lol :(
-
@impulse @falconCoin You need to check your pending (which is on the website). You dont get paid daily, it is paid when you reach 20 burst, or every saturday, whichever comes first. To check pending, go to http://burst.btfg.space, wait for the new block, and submission of dl, then on top left box, find your address and look at the last column
