@newsense2004 Come on people look at the lack of information here.
There is no Asset. No Miner, No hard Drives. This is not an Asset it is a request for Burst that we are told will be used to buy Hardware.
Nothing said about the specification of the Miner or expected Returns.
Nothing said about Mining Experience.
Not Verified by haitch
Do not invest in this Asset. If you want to invest in a Mining Asset go for one that actually Exists.

@RichBC The system is an Intel i7 4770k 3.50GHz, it's overclocked but don't remember off hand what it's clocked at. 16GB ram. This is a real asset. I am putting drives into it and the money from assets sold will go into drives.I am paying out of pocket for any other expenses like hubs, surge protectors, hardware failures etc...
Haitch verification is in process. I advised people to wait until finished if they are not comfortable.
-
@newsense2004 It would have been much better to have waited for verification and have had a fully running Mining Asset before release.
Should also show data on how many TB you expected to add against the Burst Raised so that investors can judge the value of the Asset v Other Mining Assets that are already available.
I still advise that people do not invest. Why take the risk on something that does not exist, with nothing in the information to differentiate it, when you have a lot of choice in Tried & Tested Mining Assets.
Rich

@RichBC If you don't want to invest please do not. But don't come here posting your opinions and encouraging others to not invest. If you read my OP I did post initial hardware to be purchased from the first release of asset sales. I can't post exact drive models as prices change and deals come up.
-
@newsense2004 I am sorry but releasing an Asset, means that you have something for people to invest in. You have nothing. This should have been a pre-release without an Asset ID.
When you actually have an Asset
When it is actually Mining
When you have pictures posted
When you have provided information on Burst / TB to allow comparison with existing Miners.
When you can tell us what differentiates this from the existing tried and tested miners.
When you have told us what experience you have running a Miner.
When you actually have haitch verification. Then it might be worth considering. Untill then my advice to potential Investors remains the same.
Do Not Buy This Asset.

Ahh, I get it now. Say hi to the nation for me. Have a great day!
-
@newsense2004 This has nothing to do with the Nation, this is my honest opinion. I have now said what I have to say. I suggest you concentrate on addressing the points I have raised.

@RichBC I will update my OP. If you still don't like it don't invest in it. You can start your own asset and put whatever you want in the Ann. If I don't like it I won't invest or flame it. Good day.
-
@newsense2004 This is not a Flame. It is my assessment of what you need to do to make this into an Asset worth considering. Your OP says.

I agree with what RichBC is saying. Right on top of my head I can think of 5 mining assets that is already running and still growing. Why buy this mining asset? How is this any better than the other mining assets? All I see is a lot of risks right now. You should at least get haitch verification done before asking for money.
We aren't trying to flame you, we are trying to help and protect the community from more scams and to help you improve the asset. There have been too many scams on the AE already, we used to trust https://forums.burst-team.us/user/jervis guess what happened? He ran off with everyone's money and dealt a blow to the community. Asking for haitch verification isn't someone's opinion it's THE STANDARD now. Everyone here that's launching a new asset done it.

@hah Thanks I appreciate your input. Thanks for being a little lighter than Rich but I understand completely.
-
I have updated my OP with hardware information including my system specs and current drives. The drives listed are only some temp drives I had laying around. I am looking into bigger drives now and will buy them out of pocket. Additional drives will be purchased from asset sales as soon as enough are sold.

I would just like to add that if this had been a Pre-announcement or a request for feedback ahead of the Asset Release I would have been much lighter with just suggestions for improvement and questions.
However this was a released Asset with people Buying into it. Under those circumstances there is no point in being anything other than direct.

Today I announce NewMiner. A Burstcoin mining asset.
Asset Name: NewMiner
Asset ID: 8776870561463226621
Burstcoin Wallet ID: BURST-GR4B-6YJZ-R82G-6MB25
Assets: 5,000,000
Initial Release: 250,000k Shares
Asset Release Date: 3/6/2017I am happy to announce my mining based asset NewMiner. I did a lot of math on this and can break it down. First of all asset issues will be as followed.
A total of 5,000,000 Assets will be available to allow for further expansion allowing approximately 167TB of potential mining power at today's prices. (This is for future-proofing, an estimated 1,000,000 shares will actually be sold) Initial release: 250,000 shares sold @ 10 Burst per share. Each release will be in increments of 250,000 shares. Price per share will be determined at the time of each release.Asset sales breakdown.
90% Of the asset will be sold and of that 100% will go directly into mining power (HDD's). 10% Will be kept for myself.Asset dividends breakdown.
75% Goes to investors. 20% Goes to reinvesting. (This will be allocated to trading various coins, investing in other Burst assets or other profitable investments) *This will go back to investing in more mining hardware (HDD's) in the event all shares are sold). 5% will be allocated to fees, maintenance, promotions and or bonuses.Initial hardware purchase after first release of 25,000 shares.
250,000 shares x 10 Burst = 2,500,000 Burst. 2,500,000 Burst to USD = roughly 2,300$ USD. 2,300$ USD = roughly 80TB.Current hardware.
Intel Core i7-4770 CPU 3.50GHz overclocked to 4.40GHz 16GB DDR3 Drives: 1 1TB HDD(being plotted), 1 500GB HDD(unplotted), 2 120GB SSD's(unplotted). *The disk drives mentioned were spares I had and are only temporary. I plan on buying bigger drives out of pocket and from asset sale profits.I should mention I plan on investing my own money into drives as well as buying shares. Any question are welcome.
@haitch verification has been initiated and should be completed shortly. If you have any doubts please wait until verification is completed but my reputation here should suffice until than.
Thanks, Newsense
Not trying to be harsh or put you down but it sounds like a scam when 1. You have no hardware already running, 2. You are new and noone knows you. I suggest being in the community for a few months before trying this for security reasons
-
@mathew you are mistaken. I am not new. I am pretty well known actually. I almost moved to Reno to work with Crow and that was a while ago.
