walletServer out of sync
-
Hey, miners I keep getting this msg. last winner 'n/a' , walletServer out of sync. Does this mean anything or should I not worry about it?? Also, every once in a while I get the unable to get mining info from wallet msg, any thoughts?

@redrum78 First of all you should check this: https://www.howtogeek.com/howto/19982/how-to-make-the-windows-command-prompt-wider/ :-)
Second, all in relation with walletServer is just additional info and has no influence on mining.
https://github.com/de-luxe/burstcoin-jminer#walletserver-optional
If in this case your poolServer says there is a new block, jminer tries to receive winner of last block from walletServer to display it ... if the walletServer did not have the info yet, it is 'out of sync' ... you may adjust following settings to prevent this 'error'winnerRetriesOnAsync=6 winnerRetryIntervalInMs=1500This would check 6 times, for last winner in a interval of 1,5 sec.

@luxe Thank you for the information :) I'll make my command prompt wider just for you ;). I have another question, if you have time to answer. Which is better cpu mining or gpu mining? I have been burstcoin mining for about a month now and about 90% or more of the miners are using cpu mining. I would greatly appreciate your opinion whenever you get the chance.

@redrum78 cpu or gpu ... deadlines are the same, you may reach a point where cpu limits the possible capacity mined by one pc ... gpu can help in this case.
Watch the picture in OP here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1170987.msg12329106#msg12329106
Just test both miners and use the one you like more :-)
