@haitch OK that is very generous and not what I would have expected. :-)

@haitch so you kinda go the way where you should buy your own asset to get something of? :) Its kinda same how my works just i didnt have such big initial capital lol
-
@haitch Yeah I can put banner on my blog also
-
also haven't invested as much as the dividend day is still quite far ahead, dont feel the rush yet. but will get some in the future man, don't worry. it's just that there are so many great assets nowadays that it's hard to choose :p
-
@keyd0s I would not wait too long else a Whale or two will gobble up the lot.

I want this asset to keep paying well as it grows, if all initial shares sell, this months ROI should be around 4%, if all the next batch sell, that would obviously halve at the next payout, however there will have been around 7M more assets bought to add to the portfolio and earn dividends, so should be a higher amount to pay only to more shares.
The intention is to keep the ROI as high as possible while the portfolio grows and number of asset shares grows.
-
I picked up a share tonight, cant wait to see how this goes:)
-
I got now a total of around 100 so sar.. want to get more but having to move now is really draining me of funds, so will be buying more as time allows.
-
Just noticed the banners.
and I was wondering, isn't it a bit misleading? it says 'Up to 5% ROI' , but isn't that the minimal ROI if all the assets are actually sold? If its not sold before dividend date the ROI could be much higher right? so putting 5% as the maximum in the banner seems odd to me.
-
@keyd0s Yes, the upto 5% assumes all assets are sold, but it would be more misleading to put "up to 100% ROI" (if only a few shares sell). If the "up to" percentage is exceeded, happy investors, if the ROI gets nowhere close to the "up to %" unhappy investors.
-
@keyd0s Also worth remembering that this 5% only applies for the first 100,000 sale of Assets. If the second sale fully sells out that will reduce to 2.5%.
However here it get's complicated because of the reinvestment of the sale proceeds in additional Assets which will push the % up again. By how much I do not know, but I suspect not back to 5%?

@RichBC Yeah, depends what dividends get paid out - however as you said, there will be additional assets added to the portfolio, so will it be lower than the first payout yes, will it be half? I don't think so - think it'll be higher than that.
-
Alright that's a fairly good point. I think it's always a bit dangerous to start putting ROI data in your banners as terms of advertisement, cause it's always a bit of speculation isn't it? It looks a bit like a promise to me to put this in the banner, the promise of a 5% ROI that you probably have to keep in order to satisfy your investors and not break this promise. making this harder to keep as well when the 2nd batch of shares is put up for sale
-
@keyd0s true but it's the "UP to" that is the fine print... he had to say 5% to cover for a possible all shares selling out in this batch, and not have early investors exspecting a 90-100% ROI and only get 4% because a whale bought up everything 20 min prior to Div timestamp.
-
personaly im hoping for a contenued sell rate like we have right now ... lots of people geting in but only snatching up a few hun shares each and not 3 or 4 people buying whole dubble digit %'s of the asset at a time. and then puting up for sale at higher price
-
@Gibsalot Whales will probably stay away because the fixed 90 Burst, Fortnightly Sales and relatively large number of Assets will make short term profits difficult.

I am too Nube to exactly understand this post, but sounds and looks like a good investment - How does one actually participate / what are the steps to purchase shares?

You have to purchase/own burst, then goto the burst wallet and goto the asset exchange page and click add asset and add his asset id he put in the post. then click on a buy order and buy some.
-
@mathew Got link to location?

"goto the asset exchange page and click add asset and add his asset id he put in the post" << Where is that?
