pool.ccminer.net:8080 new pool for big miners!!!
-
@ccminer Ok I have had enough of this.... Come on @haitch? Definitely not coming back until I see someone find a Block.

@RichBC All the pools are having this problem due to whatever is going on in the network - take a look at Ninja on block 331261:
-
@haitch You may be right but they are winning Blocks on ninja, this Pool has not won a single Block? Either way will give it a miss for the moment particularly if ccminer, whose pool it's meant to be, is not mining there.

I do not know what's going on but all the pools with a lot of deferred payments and I'm afraid it's going to be another one thrown away.
There is no solution to network problems ???
-
@Energy all systems have issues when they begin to scale up. All we can do is look out for strange behavior and report it. Boris Beizer: "bugs lurk in corners and congregate at boundaries". Unless the pool software is coded in a pure functional language its impossible to prove its correctness.
-
@iKnow0 Okay, but that's not a consolation.
It is clear that there may be mistakes but it is also clear that we have to try to solve them, it is clear that since I am an ignorant I can not do anything and that is why I ask those who know if something can be done.
If it is possible and is trying nothing happens is still waiting for a solution that I suppose will be difficult if it would not be solved.
If it is possible and nothing is being done as nothing is better to devote to something else because mining to not collect is hard.
If there is no solution then the same thing better to look for something else because then the better will not go.
And I say all respect
-
@Energy it will be solved in time. Some bugs are very hard to track down especially if they are intermittent. Reporting strange behavior will help. You can be sure its being worked on.

I've sent funds to my pools to cover the payments for the orphan blocks - they'll be paying out shortly.
-
@haitch Thank you but that is not the solution.
That I do not misunderstand what I say is because I would like things to be better for everyone not because I'm angry.
For those who already have a time in this and you have decent miners as nothing happens but for those who are like me it is frustrating and many may leave it and it would not be good.
Do not misunderstand me, if I stay here is because I think there is future if not I would have gone
-
I'm starting to think that my solo mining is facing the same issue, too long without a block.
I'll keep monitorizing closer, but something must be done, this is a very serious issue folks!
-
@ccminer Yes things "feeling" very wrong at the moment, can't put my finger on it, and although the Rain may have made things worse I do not think that is the root of the problem. Beginning to loose faith in winning Blocks and getting the right share. Giving tross pool a go for a few Days.
Rich
-
@RichBC if this is a network issue I guess that where you point your miners will not solve the problem
-
@ccminer Proably not, but feel the need to try something different for a While away from the Big Boys and it's easy to have a quick chat with tross about what is going on.

the pool looks like behind one block!
with my solo I have 10 mins deadline, few minutes to get let's see what is going to happen
-
nope, but something wrong is happening .
The counter of ninja arrived at 8 minutes than a new block was funded but the dedaline was 5 minutes.
This is the block 331283
-
@ccminer Could just be that the 5 Minute deadline took 8 Minutes to find?
-
@RichBC no idea, but something wrong is happening!
It looks like there are so many multiple forks that the notwork can not catch up
-
@haitch what about the pool?
Did you understand what happened?
The problem was because it is connected with .eu pool, some sort of port problem, or maybe because your server time is not sync.
Or for real the "rain"/SPAM is a sort of network attack ??
-
@ccminer The pool appears to be working correctly. I checked the time on all pools/wallets and they're all correctly NTP synced.
I'm programming the new router that's going in - and when it goes in I'll move to over to port 80/8124 on a different IP. The current 8080 isn't a problem though.
-
@haitch Please keep me updated I'll move there ASAP
