pool.ccminer.net:8080 new pool for big miners!!!

Are we forked or other pools? Ninja and club are ahead on block number and some other pools are behind us?
Cause we banging blocks out!
-
NOw looks all the pools are forked or stuck
-
@Garbear There was a consensus that Ninja and Club were wrong, but that seems to have split up as well - none of the pools agree. My local wallet agrees with team and .biz - but there seem to be three separate forks, and they need to converge.

@Garbear yeah - we've moved into the majority status, but it's fluid at the moment - not all my pools even agree.
-
@haitch are the blocks win on ccpool valid during issues like this? And does it affect solo miners when stuff like this happens or they immune to it?
-
@Garbear said, "Are we forked or other pools?"
The basic premise of blockchain technology is that over time the consensus will determine who is right and who is not. You just have to wait it out. That's why most transactions aren't considered valid until 4 blocks or so. The majority of forks are resolved by 4 blocks, however this one may take longer.
-
@Garbear The blocks mined on the chain that becomes the consensus are the valid ones - those mined on the "wrong" chain become ghost blocks.
-
@Garbear Unfortunately none of the blocks on the ccMiner pool were valid.
-
@haitch Booooooo! lol

But 355044 was :)

@haitch can we release the deferred payouts?
-
@ccminer Yeah, I'll do them shortly
-
@haitch Nice
-
@ccminer Payouts re-enabled and going out.

@Wolf Also here is a post I put in the ccminer thread with some interesting comparative stats. ccminer pool has only a very small number of Miners so is very responsive but has the highest Blocks / Finder of all the Pools or solo Miners.
@RichBC said in pool.ccminer.net:8080 new pool for big miners!!!:
@ccminer Thought I would share this. It's a cut from the Pools Data with an added column Blocks / Finder.
What I found interesting was the comparison between the Solo Miners and ccminer which implies that the average plot size for the Solo Miners is less than the average on ccminer?
For reference I have 80TB and have mined 12 Blocks in the last 10 days, so just under but close to the ccminer average, suggesting that the average Solo Miner has less than 80TB? I had always assumed that they would all be at least 100TB with then some very large ones?

@tross I never reply to you directly when you came here before to spam this thread, but for real, I kindly ask you to stop to advertise your project like this. THIS IS UNFAIR because none of us goes to your pool thread to SPAM EVERY DAY, saying that our pool is better, or more profitable or whathever you said to show that you and your pool are better!
SO PLEASE ONCE AGAIN, STOP IT!
-
@tross Is already boring a bit, usually when you think otherwise than the rest usually is not right.
Maybe if you took a little more of your pool would do better and a small miner says that he has used his pool and that he has donated some asset, but of course when I have to leave my eyes on the screen to find me and when I see That memory consumption is between 3 and 5 times more than any other pool, one looks for other options
-
@ccminer OK here's an idea. If tross posts in this thread ignore it, do not reply, just hit the Flag Post for moderation button and ask for it to be swept into the "Other Thread"
