pool.ccminer.net:8080 new pool for big miners!!!
-
@tross I'm not attacking you, but
- unless ALL pools drop DL's you'll have only one pool that appeals to large miners.
- again I make 0 Burst from the pools, so the pool isn't there because of my greed.
- again, over the long run, you'll earn the same in a big pool, small pool, or solo - the size of the pool just smooths out the spikes.
- We as pool owners can do whatever to make our pool more appealing, but in the long run IT DOES NOT AFFECT THE REVENUE OF MINERS.
- I want miners to distribute and mine over all the pools, but I can't FORCE them to do that, all I can do is help create more pools to give miners more of a choice
-
I dont agree with your point of view or the facts you have drawn out.
-
@tross I guess we'll have to agree to disagree then.

@Han-Solo Agreed. Can someone cut all these repetitive posts into the thread that was created for this silly discussion and clean the thread up again.
Thanks Rich

@ccminer I'll cleanup the thread and continue to do so - but keeping an eye on the forking problem at the moment.
-
@haitch Just read!

Are we forked or other pools? Ninja and club are ahead on block number and some other pools are behind us?
Cause we banging blocks out!
-
NOw looks all the pools are forked or stuck
-
@Garbear There was a consensus that Ninja and Club were wrong, but that seems to have split up as well - none of the pools agree. My local wallet agrees with team and .biz - but there seem to be three separate forks, and they need to converge.

@Garbear yeah - we've moved into the majority status, but it's fluid at the moment - not all my pools even agree.
-
@haitch are the blocks win on ccpool valid during issues like this? And does it affect solo miners when stuff like this happens or they immune to it?
-
@Garbear said, "Are we forked or other pools?"
The basic premise of blockchain technology is that over time the consensus will determine who is right and who is not. You just have to wait it out. That's why most transactions aren't considered valid until 4 blocks or so. The majority of forks are resolved by 4 blocks, however this one may take longer.
-
@Garbear The blocks mined on the chain that becomes the consensus are the valid ones - those mined on the "wrong" chain become ghost blocks.
