@Han-Solo I started with CPU but once I tried GPU and jminer have never looked back.

I'm currently short of 92TB because I'm installing a new GPU purchased just for BURST mining purposes.
Hope today I'll be back 100% if family issues will allow me to work on it

I personally saw no difference in scan times between CPU and GPU, but I am using a $350 laptop with an integrated GPU.
-
@rds I agree my laptop GPU is if anything slower than the CPU. However a decent graphics card in a PC can make a lot of difference. Can't remember the numbers now but my recollection is that my scan time halved.

So lets open ccminer pool to everyone!

Yes if for nothing if you over throw Ninja I would be happy then switch to the smaller pools for awhile :-).

Always thought it was for anyone anyways?

If you guys were just slightly intelligent you would look at post I made last June on the same damn subject. I am my own man I need no mentor. Han Solo you are misinformed and I pity your ignorance! Be quite and remember what you told me. I accepted that!
Open for anyone means the damn target deadline is low enough to get shares with 10tb dont be so stupid.
Promoting pools for just large miners is wrong.
-
@Han-Solo Man you crack me up lol! I hope you make your own coin cause you will be helping kill this one.
I guess I can ban myself <<<<tross you are banned

Ok for what it's worth here's my position on ccminer and Pools in general
First off I fail to see how the existence of ccminer as an addition to the choice of Pools is anything other than good for Burst.
However as I said 3 Weeks ago with the number of Miners that ccminer has currently I do not see why the Deadline could not be increased? This was and is my position.
@RichBC said in pool.ccminer.net:8080 new pool for big miners!!!:
@haitch I am against a 1 Hour minimum Deadline as I can see no value in it. As far as I know the primary reason for having a shorter deadline is to make the Pool more responsive as the number of Miners and nonces increases, so at the moment we have no need for it.
I would however be happy to see the Deadline gradually reduced to keep the number of nonces submitted to be 50 or less.
Number of nonces is currently about 16 - 20.
On Pools in general I do not think that any sort of TB cap or rules about Minimum Deadlines makes sense, apart from anything else they would be very difficult to monitor or police as anyone can set up a Pool.
What I would like to see is more Pools set up by individuals or Groups in multiple locations providing further real choice and diversity to Miners and the Network.

The reality is that solo miners running a local wallet is what's best for the network. Anyone at 10TB or less could pool mine so they don't wait 2 years to hit a block.
-
-
@Hotdogler No. On current block, and just won a block.
-
Hmm must be an issue on my end, can't load the page or submit deadlines.
-
@Hotdogler Don't know what's going on for you, but the pool is 100% operational for me.
