pool.ccminer.net:8080 new pool for big miners!!!

@tross that's why we launched this pool my friend following what @dawallet wrote yesterday.
If this will not help, I'm ready to leave it, and go back solo, I'm just offering an alternative to .ninja that actually has no competitors.I think that the SPAM we are "enjoying" recently is the cause of this network hiccups

Miners like Rich will leave and go back to ninja.
I think you can leave me to make my own decisions and speak for myself.
Let's see how this goes, at the moment let's be happy that it is an additional Pool which is helping the network
Thanks Rich

@tross I'm not stubborn as othe pools owners (not you) if my pool will cause issues as .ninja now, as I said I'm ready to reconsider for burst benefit

@tross I left your Pool more because I did not like the algorithm for the Historic Shares than any other reason. Also let's remember that this is the ccminer pool thread.

@tross Small pools will still do fine. Look at the mobile pool - it's won blocks with miners < 1TB. Big miners are going to win more blocks, and it doesn't matter whether they're mining in a pool for big miners, a small pool or solo. For smaller miners , mining at a pool is beneficial - they can share their luck while waiting to get the lucky block.
-
@ccminer OK off to a good start I make it about 260TB Mining, assuming everyone is on a single PC. Will be back Home in 24 Hours so will join you then. So who's going to find the first Block? :-)

@RichBC do you want to bet? let's say 2 000 burst?
-
@ccminer No it's going to be you, just be happy when we find it. :-) Better question would be when will we find the first block? We ought to be finding around 6 Blocks a Day, so that is one every 4 Hours, but of course there will be the odd day with none and then 10 in one Day.

@RichBC well now it's also crazy because of the current SPAM the pool are all over the place on forks
so we have to wait untill this stupid SPAM will finish or something will be done to increase the network strenght to get back to normal values.

Speaking of staying on topic. You never answered my question. You should have won a block last night. There were no fork, rain issues, etc. I watched your pool sit there with a 4:17 DL until the 9:19 came in and then the pool skipped to the next block. The only explanation I can see is you didn't submit the block to the network. Do you know if that is happening? Otherwise all that activity at the pool is a useless endeavor. That being said, I don't know how you would check if you're submitting, I hope you do. I want to join, but after seeing what I saw last night, I'm going to wait to see if you ever hit a block.

@rds The rain and the massive miners @ Ninja are screwing the network. There are no Queued or Deferred on ccMiners pool, so it never thought it won.The source of the forking needs to stop the crap they're pulling.

@ccminer added the pool to http://util.burst-team.us:8888 ...

Everything was fine at the time of this block. I was watching, 4 separate pools, the block sizes and transaction fees. Everything looked ok. I would like @ccminer to weigh in and tell me his pool is working properly before I join. I don't want to waste time mining on a new pool with no track record (never mined a block) that doesn't submit to the network because an inadvertent swich was not eabled or some such thing. Thanks.

@rds I run the pool on ccMiners behalf - if a block/DL is not accepted, that is the wallet not me.

So if I join the pool and it hits a good DL, will the pool win a block? I question why the pool did not win a block and the network waited a full 5 minutes before moving on.
Are there ways to insure your "node" , wallet is getting a good network connection? Like making sure you're connected to trusted sources etc?
-
@rds the pool wallet is set to have 25 other nodes verify the submission. When you win a block you should get paid for it
