Burst.ninja is getting too big
-
This is the biggest joke I have yet to see here.
-
@haitch You are going to force the other pools to close. Is that what you want?
-
@tross No, ccMiner had asked for a short deadline on his pool - so was going to give him one. He's requested I make it 24, so it will be 24.

@haitch That will attract more large miners and where the small miners going. I said a long time ago this would happen. It will get to the point where mining isnt worth it any more. Kinda like btc but this aint btc.
Theres got to be a better more fair way.
-
@Han-Solo putting all the large miners together in one or two pools will be just as bad. I have yet to see a group of large miners at my pool so dont know what effect it will have. Large miners I mean over 150tb but I dont think it will mess up the pool for anyone. I have switches and adjustment to make it fair. Nobody is giving Lexicon's work a chance. Rich only knows the older code but not the new code :)
-
@tross I would consider coming to yours or Lex's pool if I first understood and then liked your algorithm for the Historic shares? So if it has changed let me know?
However remember I only have 80TB, I do not consider myself to be a large miner, wherever I go will make absolutely no difference to the network stability.

@Han-Solo Burst isnt BTC
I just wanted to show there is more pools to choose from. But nobody believes and wont even try it out. So whats the point of talking any more. But this all isnt good for burst.

@tross said in Burst.ninja is getting too big:
But nobody believes and wont even try it out
I have tried most Pools and made my decision, and yes it's based on how reliable is the Pool in terms of Uptime, Reliable Confirmations, and the Reward that I can get relative to Mining Solo, for the moment the winner is Ninja. From time to time I will try elsewhere but so far I have always come back to ninja.....

@RichBC I have have hardly been down and can count on one hand how many times. I got 200 miners that are satisfied with my pool. My pool code has been changed 7 times since you mine there. You see ever block win who gets what. Try adding it up it will be close to the reward size. The rest goes to pending. My fees go to burst bash so how is anyone losing out.
But hey I am tired of arguing You can lead a horse to water but cant make him drink. I wish you luck and happy bursting!

I am not arguing, just presenting my current position, and as I have said I would need to understand and like your current Historic shares Algorithm?

Okay well Pool.burstcoin.de is open for miners.
-
-
@Burstde Adam is raining again 10 Burst/address, 6 coin fee.
-
@haitch Oh well looking on the bright side that is better than the 6 +6 we had earlier. While I remember what happens to the fees on a pool? Is it distributed along with the Block reward, or kept by the Pool owner?
Rich
-
@RichBC On the Uray/Lexicon code I believe it's distributed, on the Ninja I've honestly no idea sorry.
-
@haitch Well worth asking as I guess he thinks he is giving to the Miners with these inflated fees, but perhaps he is not?
Rich
-
I believe Ninja pays differently and I don't know if Uray can ever be changed to match. I don't think it has a setting to pay 24/hrs or 300
-
@RichBC That would be a questions for Catbref - I can look through the code and see if I could figure it out .....
But if it does go to the owners, then in my case it goes to BursTeam asset owners, I don't get anything from the pools directly.
