Error opening file - How ofen do you need to plot a drive?
-
Thanks for all the help so far!!
I recently added a Raid drive to my system and started plotting that drive. In the mean time, I was consistently mining the 500 MB drive on the laptop. All was working well, but all of a sudden the miner started giving "error opening"
So could that be that I need to re-plot that drive? It has only been 1 day..
-
@gwagner I'm guessing it trying to mine the drive being plotted - that won't work, you can mine a drive until it's plotted.
-
So the C drive was already plotted. The D drive is still being plotted - and mining just fine. The error is on the C drive.
-
Or perhaps I am mis-reading the error? I was mining just fine on the C drive. Once I got the error I restarted the Burst Wallet and it saw the D drive. I restarted mining and still get the error (the way I read it) accessing the C drive, but looks like the new D drive that is not fully plotted is mining??

@gwagner It mining the C drive, it's erroring on one of the D: drive plots - I'd presume the file being plotted.

Thank you @haitch ! - How will I know when it is time to re-plot a drive?
-
@gwagner you never need to.Plot once, mine forever

Wow. That is awesome!
