Mining Multiple Drives using Windows Wallet
-
Can you mine using multiple drives using the windows wallet miner or do I need to use a different miner that will recognize multiple drives at the same time?
-
in windows wallet you can use 2 miners, both support multiple drives:
-
@blago trying to load the Blago miner and it keeps shutting down on me. I need some help.
-
@FXALTareeq You need to provide more specific information ... we can not help you, if you just say ... it is not working :-)
-
-
here is the log: http://www.fxaltareeq.com/images/2016-6-18_14_10_56.log
-
Hmm config and logs look ok for me, do you start miner from a *.bat file? if yes add a new line with 'pause' and make a screen of exception.
-
@luxe Im clicking on the miner.config file..how do I set up the bat?
-
ok, do not understand how clicking on config starts the miner ... but if it works for you ...
Try making a start.bat file including e.g.:miner-v1.160610.exe pauseGoal is just, not to close cmd on exception.
You can of cause replace miner-v1.160610.exe with the version u use ... AVX etc.
-
@luxe made the bat. clicked on it and my screen pauses and the error comes up to close the program:
-
seams the miner does not find plotfiles at given paths ... f:/plots and g./plots
but something is strage, in your logs there are 11 drives, in you config where only 2 specified.

Please make a screen of your plotfiles in f:/plots or g:/plots
-
@luxe I'm not clear on exactly what you're asking for..pls clarify.
-
you have plotted/created plotfiles in f:/plots and g:/plots , right?
just wanted to see their size and filenames.
-
For some reason now when I start mining with the windows wallet it is reading both drives and giving me confirm dl's and registering on the burst-team pool. here is the image: http://www.fxaltareeq.com/images/mining2.png
-
Your plotfiles are in f:/Burst/plots and g:/Burst/plots ... in you config file it was f:/plots and g:/plots ... so miner could not find them.
-
I see I will check in the morning. I will let this run. Sorry to bother you and thank for your help.
-
The Client should find plot files in X:\Burst\plots and X:\plots\ but I haven't tested the second path for a long time. Better you move the files to X:\Burst\plots . That should work 100%.
-
he tried to start without client i guess.
-
Is it with a double or single slash X:\Burst\plots or X:\Burst\plots
