Storj Share Cloud Mining
-
It will become more profitable once its out of beta and more people know about it. :)
-
@KyleH112 Any rough estimates about when it is coming out of beta? Can anyone participate in the beta?
-
Just need to download the software and run it, its very easy to setup. Users get paid for storage, bandwidth and uptime. Or you can purchase a plan from me to run for you. :)
-
@KyleH112 Cool, I will try it some day, just don't have time for something new right now. :)
-
Filling up the hdd takes time but is happening lol KyleH112 is right when beta is done it will get interesting!
-
I'm Renting out my 4TB and only 1.2GB is filled?! I've been renting it for over a month now?! Still no payout?! What is going with my Setup?!
Thanks,
CesBurst1782

If you started running Storj Share mid-month you wont receive a payout until the end of the following month.
-
I wonder why he doesnt have more than 1.2gb? I got almost 6gb for the 3 weeks since I started. Do you have a static ip?
-
When I notice my Storj Share hasn't had any recent transactions ill click View - Refresh to freshly load everything, maybe his is timing out a lot or low bandwidth / uptime so its not being populated as fast.
-
I run mine with dimensions 4 and noip for my dynamic ip
-
@tross I have dynamic ip.... Not sure what is going on?! Maybe I just need to take a closer look at it and click on view-reload from time to time?!
Thanks,

@KyleH112 I've used Storj, but as a dev, not as a storage, it's very promising for us devs to have a cheap hosting like the one Storj offer.
-
how much internet speed require for storj do we need fast internet and what if we got disconnected in between and reconnected again we dont get paid their are many questions in my mind anyone here who gonna help in this thanks alot~
-
if we offer 4 tb space means we have to download that 4tb and can be uploaded many times its too much costing for internet m i right?
-
Storj own a community too, maybe the best place to get answers to those questions is there but not sure how active they are now, when I first learned about storj it was very active.
-
@CesBurst1782 If your ip changes then you will have connection problems. A simple free solution is NOIP.
is a good video to set things up.
You run an NOIP client on your computer it updates your ip to Noip. You create a host at NOIP and configure it
to connect to your ip at port 80. There are other ports you have to forward too.

I have rented out 1tb for a couple of months, 792gb filled (it is not on atm though) About 300k contracts. Earned a total of 140 storj, 40 last payout. Burst is more profitable in my experience.
-
I have around 4 TB Allocated to Storj and so far I have around 40GB filled... Can't wait to see what kind of payout I'll get!!
-
I got almost 200gb shared so we will see. Last month had so 30bg- 40gb and got $6 so thats in the area of 6.5k burst which is way more than 1 month bursting with 1tb. This next month will tell me if its worth it or not.
-
@tross i have started using 200gb aswell start the other day gonna see how it goes..
