Need some advice on mining
-
Hello all currently I am using Blago's Burst Miner for Windows. I am running an internal HD and an External HD totaling appr. 2.3T with that said im averaging 5.5 sec. using about 105 Mb/s. My CPU is an Intel I7 6th gen 8core at 4Ghz no it is not overclocked, also I have 32 gig's of DDR4 ram my GPU is a NVidia Titan X with 15 gig's DDR5 ram.
1. would i benefit from using the GPU generator.
2. How difficult would it be to DL the program and run it meaning would I have to plot both HD's again and would it even have an effect on the external drive?Thank you in advance!

- no or not significantly
- yes and no
5,5 seconds is really good. If you add new drives I recommend you to directly use XPlotter for optimized plots but for now you are good.

@daWallet cool thank you!

You won't need GPU assistance until you get to about 100TB your CPU will check the drives fast enough and the only reason to use the GPU would be to Plot to get the 100TB if you have the drives all at once. If you add 4TB a month it really isn't worth using the GPU. Just use the XPlotter to optimize and your drive scan times will be decent.

@CryptoNick Thank you I do plan on adding more Terabytes I have 2 open HD slots inside the case and I do have an extra HD around here trying to find it. LOL the mess I make with computer parts is worse than a kid with new toys.

lol
If I have a clean desk I can never find anything!
Not sure the genius label fits in my case though.
