@tross only trying to help, don't know much about it either, only that dynamic ip or just switching address (like domain name) will probably not work, behind the scenes everything is done using ip addresses.
dns servers are basically database telling address.xxx.com equals this ip
so changing address.xxx.com to something new will not work as all they have to do to know the new ip is do a nslookup (query a dns server to get the new ip) or ping the address as it will do it automatically.
My guess with the little understanding i have is either block the traffic someway or use something like cloudfare and use their ddos attack preventing system (which i think basically hides your servers ip and make cloudfare infrastructure handle the load). but even if you use cloudfare after setting it up you need to have least changed your servers ip once (not the address but the ip) because your current ip is comprimised.
I'm sorry i don't know more about it either i'm only a (delphi) programmer by days work
Ok I pinged burstpool.site <<<<<test pool and I got an untraceable IP6 address.

@tross yup i did a traceroute on burstpool.site and gotten an ipv4 ip address, then did a ip geolocation lookup using https://www.iplocation.net and came out in america (cloudfare). Also tried a reverse dns lookup (tries to find domain name from ip) on the ip i had found using the tracert / ping and it could not find any record. Not sure if it's ok but i'd expected a german location if it was not hidden. So i'm guessing al is indeed ok but i'm no expert :)
edit: i hope it's not on same server as your old one (the one from your signature) as if it's running on the same one with same ip it's also comprimised but i think you know that right
edit2: if it is the same one, just make sure you get new ip once you decomission your old pool

The vps restarted again and dont know why. I cant stay up all night be will look at some point. Unless the attackers can shut down vps it must be a hardware problem. Should it continue I set up another vps.
edit unless the attackers can send power spikes then it was the weather or faulty machine. I was assured all was ok now but lets wait and see.
