tross Burstcoin Pool
-
Its being worked on but who know what will happen.
-
Hang in there, @tross!!
-
I have decided to close my pool for a couple days. I need to get a handle on how to protect my pool. You guys are loyal and I want the best for you. You all cant go to lexitoshi but pick a pool where you can earn. I hope to be back in time for a burst bash which I love to give. It sickens me people would stoop so low. I made a pool for everyone and anyone so tried to make it fair.Ok thanks to lexicon pool is back up! I will spend my free time researching a way to protect my pool. I am just old but am technical trained I will find the solution!
-
@tross man it susks it is how i feel about doing my faucet site to earn.... try to do something and ppl screw it up
-
Lexicon helped me get the pool sorted! I owe a lot to this person he has helped me so much! Thanks for being patient!
-
@tross If you close, they win.
What server are you using windows or linux?
-
@tross Pm'd you - we can proxy the pool to beat the DOS'ers.
-
@Energy I am using Ubuntu.
-
Thank you to all the miners that stuck it out and stayed on the pool. I have a few thing to look into that could help when we are attacked.
There is a reason I am very attached to this pool and hard to explain without sounding funny. I wish I was younger and knew more but am getting older and know better. Why people do this lol there could be many reason but its defiantly not to advance Burst.
Without you guys I have no pool and thats why I say miners first!30 day dl ftw!
-
Another 2k sent to the pool to say Thank you for hanging in there!
-
@tross Thank you tross :) But we got a lot behind on pool winning, seems like we lost some big miner!
-
i stayed as well even though i currently only have 2 tb for mining but i did order a 6 tb drive to add to it so not a big miner. I only started mining 3 -4 days ago but i really like that i can look up the pending and all shares info on the website and that (when it's not ddos'ed) the connection is rock solid.
-
I believe the point of the ddos was to knock my pool down. Make the large miner migrate so looks like succeeded.
I ran a pool for every miner and it was doing good for the whole community but for some people that is not exceptionable!

@tross Have you tried a solution like this ?? I know that these solutions work for web servers but I do not know if they work for pools https://github.com/fnzv/nShield
I use this in my web servers with cpanel but I do not know if it would work in your case you lose nothing in trying https://configserver.com/cp/csf.html
-
Yes looks like it would work. But have to look how set up. haitch point to something similar I think. Thanks for the help.
-
@tross Edit the message while you reply xD

I'm with 2 fans, the other day when I realized it even cost me to write well, more than normal is understood.
I live in an area of Spain that when it was a child began to rain in October and stopped in June with a little luck, now the rivers are down without water from what little it has rained and yesterday, for example, 40ºC / 104ºF with a humidity of 90% , That's unbreakable and you're all stuck
