-ANNouncement - Smart Contract BURST lottery test

Come in spinner!!
-
Wasn't It a 3 day test ? So is it working ??
-
not sure suposed to be a 3 day lotto test its been over 3 days and lotto wallet still has funds ... maby it was set for longer than 3 days or did not work.
-
@crowetic mentioned that it may have been a math problem so the days were multiplied by either 3 or 5. so the lottery will go either 9 days or 15
-
-ANNouncement- My AT coding isn't quite up to par, even with my tool. :D
This doesn't mean that the lottery won't work, it just means that a few of the parameters that I wanted, aren't necessarily 'correct'... lol...
The good news is... - All submissions people have given, are counted, and the lottery IS still working.
The bad news, well, I don't even really think it is 'bad' really, just... uh... news, I guess... haha... is...
The lottery isn't exactly as I stated, the differences are...
The tickets are actually 1 BURST, not 5... so that's really... doesn't make much of a difference aside from the number of tickets you hold... which in proportion ends up making no difference at all...
The lottery will actually run for 12 days, not 3... it seems there was a calculation error in the tool that I used to create it... so the thing neglected to calculate minutes into blocks, and therefore the lottery will run 4 times as long, as the minutes per block on average should have been calculated into 360 block 'days' but instead, it calculated minutes in a day, and used THAT...
So...
What this means overall isn't very much, just that the lottery will last longer and the tickets are cheaper! heh.
So no worries, the money isn't stuck, as far as I can tell the AT is working as intended, with just some minor issues with calculations.
According to the BURST API, the lottery AT is ALIVE, and will execute upon its completion, which will be now 12 days from the start date, or average 12 days, in exact terms it will be 4,320 blocks from the first transaction that hit the AT (that block).
So, I'm gonna go ahead and say it should be fine to send more coins in to get tickets, and test your luck!
Thanks!
-
I think we all understood this was a test and there might be some... minor flaws... we'll be patient!
-
@crowetic yeah was clear in the code that it used the value 1440 and you ran it for 3 days which means 4,320 blocks must pass which matches up to the AT. :) this is going to be interesting :D
-
lol all it does is let me buy more tickets :)
-
Its kool i dont mind waiting to become burstillionaire!! lol
-

i do not see that the lotto payed out on Burstcoin.biz ...... actuly last transaction i see for wallet Mr.S on Burstcoin.biz is a 3 burst fee for the creation of the lotto back on Dec, 27th
-
Probably stuck, check another wallet
-
it shows my wallet up to date, i checked the All in one clients built in i see the payout there back on the 8th
-

@Focus let @crowetic look into it when he has a few min, i know he's been crazy busy on top of flood issues making him move hardware. Burstcoin.biz is up to date with every other transaction i look at but has no record of this transaction. i can only find it when i use the all in one client to search. but it shows wallet Mr.S created the AT lotto on Dec 27th txid 7272461672301268006 purchased no lotto tickets... then when looking at the all in one client won the AT lotto on the 8th. with no record of that on burstcoin.biz ........... my guess some thing did not go as planed or what we are seeing on the all in one client is false info because im assuming Mr.S wallet is where the 20% fee is suposed to be sent.
-
I don't think the lottery worked as it should have...
I don't know what is going on, but it seems to have refunded...
I'm going to attempt another test. As far as the money that was sent... We can either figure out a way to refund that, or we can donate it to the development account...
I'll launch another test shortly, I am thinking it was the rake percentage that didn't work correctly, for whatever reason. So this time I'm going to do it without that.

This is correct, the Mr.S wallet is one of my friend's old wallets that I used to help him with, I used it because it had a few coins but nothing worth speaking of...
I assumed as well, that is where the 20% was supposed to go... but it definitely seems like that didn't work as it should have.
For whatever reason, it seems that the contract sent the entire amount to the starting account... which doesn't make any sense to me.
I'm going to launch another test shortly. This time a very simple one without a rake percentage.

@crowetic fucking finally! i thought that lotto thing will never appear....
guess we have more talking to do :) , and i'll help harass the system properly when you relaunch. i love concepts
