[ANN] CCMINER1000

@crutsy this is a good idea!! I started to talk with @haitch to start it!
@vExact I just restarted the miner and before my pool will be ready I'm mining solo like before!all the progress can be seen here BURST-6BH8-2UBM-QQQT-BQJLG
I decided that form now on I'll talk and reply just about something that can be directly visible and clearly documented.
So here the video of the current 125 TB mining in the new location!
the mining from this farm will be integrated with my other altcoin mining and trading, like it happened during the last period, to offer you a correct payout due to the investemnts I received!
Once the farm will be normalized to the correct TB capacity the other altcoin intergation will continue for a period of 1 month as BONUS to compensate you about THIS DRAMA!!!CONSTANT UPDATE WILL FOLLOW!!
-
@ccminer OK good we have 125TB and are back where we were at the end of last Year.
There look to be a lot of USB hubs in use, what read time for the plots are you getting?
Rich
-
@RichBC around 35 seconds
Next week I'll add a couple of pc just for mining.
Incoives, pctures and all details will be uploaded
-
@ccminer those are drives of 5TB I guess. Now the new you recently ordered will be of 4TB. Will you have enough space in that room when you aproach the PTB? Substracting the current capacity for ccminer1000 you will have 974TB to fill (without counting the ones on the way to your place), this makes around 244 drives of 4 TB!
-
@vExact I can fit 30/35 hdd per "floor" I have 8 floors available.. I'll update pictures to let you understand better
-
@ccminer Have you done the maths on the power needed, and thought about any additional cooling, particularly in summer, that may be needed in that confined space?
Rich
-
@ccminer I believe you can find space. My point is that if your later want to even add more drives (who knows) you will be quite limited in terms of space. However if you keep adding drives of 5TB it makes a total 195 drives, so you save quite a bit here.
-
well less than 195 as the ones of 4 TB are already on the way...
-
@vExact I have 2 rooms like that available, my grandparents used them as internal warehouse but we are emptying them now. So in case I have enough space.
-
@RichBC I've just moved them there so I need few days to get some data about the temperature I'll keep you updated ;)
Before the drivers got around 40 celsius
-
@ccminer 40 Celsius is the max operating temperature for those drives. If you are getting to that in winter with 125TB I think some work on the cooling is needed.
Rich
-
@RichBC I think they can support 45 but I'm not sure at this time I have to get the documentation back and check.
-
@ccminer You may be right, either way 40 is too close for comfort particularly if there is no air movement in the room causing hot spots. What is the model number of the drives?
Rich
-
@RichBC within 50 celsius we are ok

-
@ccminer OK for now but with a small room with no air circulation in the Summer and with more drives I would leave it on the list of things to keep an eye on.
Rich
-
@RichBC Yeah, @ccminer, at least add a stand fan (eg
to create air circulation. Don't know what the summer temps get to where you are, but for summer consider a window A/C unit to generate cool air and circulation
-
-
-
@ccminer Would depend where it's located, you're going to want air circulation in that closet. A stand fan pointed directly in there is going to be most effective. A ceiling fan in the closet would be good, but in a different room you won't get the same circulation.

I'm moving the CLAMs that I'm going to change into BURST for the daily payout
