Plotting and mining on a NAS
-
I have a friend who has 4 TB on a NAS drive, he says. Is mining/plotting different on a NAS compared to a regular external hard drive? I have no prior experience with NAS.
-
Nothing is different, if he can configure the NAS as a network drive. The only drawback is limited speed and long plotting times (If he can't detach the drives and plot them outside the nas). You could do a lot of optimization to reduce the speed impact, but the drive will still be limited by the network speed.

@FrilledShark OK, thanks for the info!

Yea, as Shark said, any space that can be assigned a drive letter, can be used for BURST mining. :) Welcome to the future of mining!

Is it possible to convert a NAS to mine solely for burstcoins?
For example:

@Jietsedm I think you asked exactly the same as the OP, so I say yes you can... If I didn't understood your question my apologies and maybe rephrase your question ;D
