@cashgold According to the screenshot the drive is only 260MB Megabytes - not even 1 GB. Go to the "Create and Format Partitions" tool, delete ALL the partitions on the drive, then create a new Simple partition formatted as NTFS. If you have a question, post a screenshot of the partitioning tool.
-
@haitch the drive is 500 gb but i dont know reason why is showing that
-
@cashgold Run the Partitioning tool and post a screenshot
-
@haitch http://prntscr.com/efsjqd
now 465gb
-
@cashgold If the drive is now the correct size, leave out the -n parameter and it'll automatically calculate the correct size
-
-
@haitch thanks very much working good now
http://prntscr.com/efsmoy now i can plota all my remining disk fast now

@rds said in XPlotter for optimized plots (CPU):
@haitch ,
what does "@cd /d %~dp0" do?
thanks,
Its a command to set your path/location to the location of the script you are running.
-
@rds change drive and directory to the location specified.

So I guess I don't need that because I specified where the plotter and the target file is in the bat file line?
c:\burst\XPlotter.v1.0\XPlotter_avx.exe -id 15679867970884543098 -sn 2515260000 -n 3815000 -t 4 -path y:\burst -mem 8G
-
@rds yeah, if you specify it all, no variables required.
-
after plotting with this plotter , why the file is not listed in plot file for mining.
i need more explanation on how it function .
please
-
@cashgold If you are using the AIO wallet to start your mining, your plot needs to be in the \Burst\plots folder. For example: E:\Burst\Plots\nameofyourplotfile
-
yes . but not all plots are available there for mining . this is my concern
-
What do you use for threads if you have a quad core CPU but have HT enabled? How much of your resources do you recommend to use for plotting? I had a crash while mining with GPU and plotting with Xplotter. Using a quad core i7 with HT and 16G ram.
-
@newsense2004 use 6 - 7 threads don't want to freeze up your whole system right?
-
@blago, is there a switch in the xplotter to set priority to "high" or "low"? Thanks
-
@rds Windows task manager or if you use a .bat file to start it with priority parameters.
