Change PLots order
-
To streamline my mining, I have a few hard drives with plots on different devices, and ive mapped those drives to my mining rig. It works well. I also got a 10 TB space on google drive i been putting plots on.
I want the google drive plots to be the LAST one my system mines. Is there a specific order of drives the system looks at for order of plots?

@Valareos It depends on the miner you're using. Using Blago's CPU miner, you can mine drives in parallel by doing for example "c:\plots","d:\plots","e:\plots". But you can also specify that drive can be mined in sequence, and a specific sequence by doing it; for example: "c:\plots" + "e:\plots" + D:\plots" - the "+" operator between plot location indicates do this, then do that.

Im Mining using the wallet's mining function

@Valareos The All In One Wallet doesn't have the capability, you'd need to manually configure and run the miner outside of the AIO.

@haitch
DOes the all in one have a specific order it defaults to? If so its just a matter of me renaming my drive letters. For example I noticed if i got a Z drive, it does that first before my D drive. Does it always go in reverse alphabetical order?

I thought 10TB on Google Drive costs $100 a Month?

i think the All in one scans them all at the same time... it just shows you in the miner when each drive finish's and how long each took to scan

@RichBC if you get a business account, its actually cheaper. On their 14 day trial which gives me 10 TB, but if i wanted unlimited space i can create 4 "users" and pay 10 dollars a month per user. SInce I have my own domain and such, i can do it :)
Look up G Suite Business

@Valareos It should attempt to do all drives at once. If you have more drives than CPU threads, then the mining order is not predictable.
