Wallet stuck?
-
This happens anytime someone is running 1.2.5 and they are connected as a peer. This took place today, I monitor the wallets connected to mine and anything below 1.2.6 I block daily. Today I came home to find 2 new wallets running 1.2.5. I get the same stuck transactions. So there is nothing to worry. In a day or two everything will revert. My wallet stays strong and never crashes. I can post a list of ip's if anyone likes.
I have mentioned this before, we need to block anyone on old wallets via the config somehow. Most all other coins do that and people are required to update at fork. At this point I see it as a vulnerability...

@Gibsalot did you try to make a payment from the online wallet?
-
@crutsy Thank you, the thing is that even from online wallet my transactions do not get confirmations!
-
@ccminer can you see a list of peers on the online wallet?
Here is a shot of your account from my end
-
@crutsy The number are ok, I processed the daily payout and I released new units of my asset but they do not get confirmations, so the total didn't decreased.
I went to the online wallet to try to release from there the new units but same result.
How can I remove the peers with 1.2.5 wallet version to check if I can unblock this situation
-
@ccminer Only way I've found is manually by ip
Even after you update those transactions will still take a day or two to revert.
Keep in mind this is a running list many months old. I'm sure some have updated...

@crutsy Thank you again but I didn't get what to do
-
@ccminer this is just a list of peers by ip that were out of date. Add these IP to your config under
Known bad peers to be blacklisted
Then close and reopen the wallet

@crutsy I can not understand how this could affect the online wallet as well?
-
@ccminer Are you saying that when you placed the order and got stucked the shares didn't leaved your wallet to the AE escrow?
@luxe I have an incoming stucked transaction from @jervis News Asset, i asked him some infos and this was what i could gather:
This stucked transactions happened in the block ID 174374017498092934 (http://prntscr.com/dh5831) (wich curiously is one of the blocks with more transactions in it at least that i ever seen (231 transactions confirmed))
Besides my stucked incoming transaction there is another account that have the transaction stuck made by @jervis in the same block (http://prntscr.com/dh53ge) Tx IDs: 9367574287192673443 (mine) and 9509848293989503193 (another account)
I asked him about what was the wallet he used to make this transfers and he said it was from the online wallet in the AIO so i guess it is hard to know what specific wallet he used...
Any additional questions regarding this can be asked to him directally or to me and i will contact him...
@crutsy guess can be a good explanation for this issues going on... hope someone could explain it so we could find a solution...

@ccminer any wallet that is connected to a 1.2.5 wallet will have this problem. The 1.2.5 wallet is/was be connected to the online wallet.
My god a 1.2.2 connected to the online wallet
-
@crutsy I tried your balck list, for now without success!
You are right this is a serious issue and it rappresent a vulnerability, that need to be addressed ASAP!
-
@ccminer The blacklist only helps for the future
For now you must wait
-
@crutsy So potentially everyone that is using the online wallet or it is connected with these "toxic" peers can not use the wallet
-
@ccminer from what I've seen its only when this out of date peer makes a transaction. I think every transaction in that block maybe goes bad? Seems most notable on the asset exchange. Could be more to it . I've just picked up on the pattern.
-
@crutsy how to find the list of used peers in the online wallet?
-
@gpedro peers on the bottom left
-
@crutsy I remembered of that right after i posted LOL thanks man
-
@crutsy NOw I'm connected just with 4 peers all of them with 1.2.6 ot .7 wallet.
I tried to do a transaction (asset release) No way!!! Stuck as well
