'Last write not finished error' - wplotgenerator
-
I have been getting the 'Last write not finished error' when using wplotgenerator, as seen in the image below:

Even though my task manager shows activity, it just stalls at that level, and no more plotting appears to be happening. Could my problem be related to the /async mode?
My batch file output was wplotgenerator 11034267229863071719 0 15253504 8192 6 /async (I actually used the integrated guided plotter in the latest AIO wallet, but I think that this is what the output file would look like).

@Propagandalf It normally means you were off in the number of nonces calculation, and the drive has run out of space. If you check the properties of the drive you'll probably find 0 bytes free. I've done it more than once :(
-
@haitch 3.10 Tb free still, it appears to have plotted 7 % like it said it before stopping. Could it be that the guided plotter calculates nonces wrong when I move the slider all the way to the right to fill the drive to the max?

@Propagandalf Mis-read your post (I'm sick and probably shouldn't be online). I've not run into the CPU plotter getting hung up except when the drive ran out of space. Check the Event Viewer for any errors, but otherwise you'll probably have to kill it and restart.
-
@haitch No worries, could you please point me to the event viewer?
-
@Propagandalf It'll depend on your version of Windows - Windows 7 it's in administrative tools, anything more recent just type event viewer into the search box.
-
@haitch Oh, I thought you meant the plot generator had its own error log or something like that! Thanks anyway. :)
