BurstCoin.ml:8080 Tate's Pool

@Tate-A Ok makes sense I just have to get used to the fact that Burst gets harder to get as time goes on. Thanks for the feedback :)
-
@Dedsyte He's right. As the network difficulty increase it takes more hard drive power to find a block. Remember when bitcoin mining was just a usb stick. Now its some 12th monster machine. So today with burst I think 7tb is the min
-
After the DDoS attack on the pool, we only have a few miners. I am going to be sending burst to the miners daily, until we get our strength back.
-
@Tate-A 5K For your ad space ?
-
@haitch Can you PM me the info of your AD, send the Burst here: BURST-NW6H-X5X3-ECU4-8N25Z :)
-
got home late from work, send y'all a double bonus tomorrow.
-
Next month's pay out for the v2Pool asset should be pretty decent, I have some 8TB HDDs coming. Then the asset will have 24TB behind it.
-
Where getting it back together after the DDoS attack, 76 miners!

trying to come back to the pool after being on ninja for a while... whats up with the reward assignment wanting me to go to burstcoin.eu?

@jmeek82z28 @haitch is now hosting the pool, I have other miners that can not connect to the pool. My pool and burstcoin.eu is hosted on the same IP. I don't know if there is way to fix this.
-
@Tate-A You're getting the same issue with it reporting as .eu reward address? Nothing has changed at my end , and I do see a couple of miners on there. Does pool.burstcoin.ml display properly for you ?
-
The front end page is displaying (both) fine depending which url you enter. Humble opinion, you guys are on the same port, and the http headers can handle that for web traffic, but one pool or the other needs to reconfigure to a different port and have all the miners reset.
-
@jmeek82z28 It was working just fine with the pools on the same port - the proxy uses the the URL in the POST command to determine where the request should go. It was working until very recently apparently.
@Tate-A or @jmeek82z28 Can either of you confirm if it's still happening ?
-
@haitch I can kind of confirm, I set reward recipient to burstcoin.eu pool last night when it wasn't working. I'm still confirming to that pool, no record of me on burstcoin.ml.
-
@jmeek82z28 You'd need to set your reward recipient back to .ml and mine there to verify. As a quick test, if in your miner.conf, you point it over to pool.burstcoin.ml, and restart the miner - do your DL's get accepted or error back from Tate's pool ?
-
hmm, plot thickens. I switched from blago to creep miner and started connecting right. set reward assignment and i'm showing on burstcoin.ml now. We'll call that one an interim solution lol

I'm using jminer 0.4.9
-
@Tate-A Can you check with them that they're using the DNS name and not the IP Address? Going through the proxy requires them to use the correct DNS Name, otherwise they'll go to the wrong place.

Good morning/day/night all.
I am pretty new to burst and always eager to learn. I was trying to fully understand the way pools pay their miners.
I ve been on burstcoin.ml for some days now. I got an early payment of 15 burst and after that nothing. Did saw some good (minutes) DL being confirmed but that’s about it. I am currently mining with about 2.5 TB which accordingly to the online calculator should have produced some payments by now. But I aint taking that into deep consideration cause of some HDD issues (1 of em had bad sectors and the aio client miner was not working correctly) and system issues which kept me from mining 24/7.
So the questions are should I have been paid by now and what amount would have been a reasonable one (average not luck)? Am I even mining correctly? Do I have to mine 24/7?
I do understand you guys get asked these kinds of questions all the time and I am not trying to be a pain in the ass. I did read the above replies about pool info and understood most of it. I am just trying to come into a conclusion and decide if mining if profitable for my situation or not.
Thank you in advance for any help.
