Made a plot file too big
-
Somehow I miss calculated and made a plot file too big by about 1GB, it fits on the drive it's on now but not the drive I planned to optimize it over too. Is there anyway to trim the file and then run plotschecker to fix and edit it down a bit?
Hate to waste all that time plotting.

Most will tell you no. Time to plot another onto that second drive. You can mine using the first plot while the second is plotting and then it won't feel like you are wasting anytime.
-
OK, what about this then? Can I mine on the same account (different plots of course) from different computers or would that not be as efficient as a deadline might get submitted that is worse than a deadline submitted from the other miner on the other computer.
-
@superskid some pools penalize that - but any of the Ninja style pools don't.

OK, so besides the potential penalty am I lacking anything on speed or at any other kind of disadvantage by doing this? I assume the pool would still just choose the lowest deadline if a worse one is submitted?
-
@superskid Correct - the pools that dont penalize only care about the best deadline you submitted - and mining spread over several machines could be faster than trying to do it all in one miner.
-
@superskid yes you can mine on different or same account. You can mine on different computers.
