BurstcoinMining.Com Pool Miners Needed

  • ok used IP address .. miner opens now but does nothing dont even show the pool name or anything.

  • what port did you put in??

  • thats what i was about to ask was seting up the stand alone miner to try it and realise i duno the port #

  • @Gibsalot use port 80

  • got the stand alone working

  • Give me just a min the site is messing up let me restart miner and pool at the same time

  • @haitch I assume that whatever the split, 100/0 or 0/100 that in the Long (perhaps very long ) run your income will be the same?

However I quite like the idea of 0 / 100 so that it completely removes, particularly for small miners, the luck of how you did on the winning round.

Does anyone know on a ninja Pool how the results of the last 50 rounds are added / computed for each miner? Is it as simple as the being a rolling total of the last 50 Rounds divided by 50?

@RichBC I know it's configurable to be the last X number of rounds - 50 is the default, but it can be anything. Not sure how the total is computed, but I'll take a look through the code and post later.

0/100 would take the luck out of "this" round - but whether that would hurt or help small miners is debatable - a small miner winning a block doesn't really get rewarded for theor luck - on the flip side, getting a winning time would seriously boost their historical share.

If there's interest in trying it, I'll setup a pool with 0/100 - and a longer history.

  • Hi! I'm very new to this idea. I have plotted my hard drive 225 GB and want to know if I qualify to mine in this pool. please let me know.. I'm ready....

  • You can mine but this pool is really setup for the larger miners

I would recommend to mine on pool.burst4all.com
