A New Massive BURST Mining Operation To Hit the community Soon!
-
This isn't the only large farm coming into the world at this time ;) To me, it's great to see these things happening. The more long-term investors we get putting large amounts of money into BURST, the more we ensure that BURST will have long-term success! The best part is... even if a bunch of people build massive farms, BURST can still be mined by anyone, and the more people that have money into farms like this, the more interest they will have in making sure the price stays solid and supported.
BURST will always cost almost nothing for the every day person to mine, and farms like this are not simple to setup, and reuire a lot of management, so the favor is still in the hands of the smaller BURST miner.
So unlike Bitcoin, large farms like this should not deter anyone else from mining, in fact it should make more people want to mine, knowing that people are putting big investments into the coin, means that people are not wanting the coin to go anywhere :)
Congrats Adam!
This is going to be fun, we've already been having a bit of a 'race to build' with his farm and the ones I'm building, I'll be showing off pictures of my stuff soon enough.
Here's to BURST!
-
@crowetic well from small miner point of view big ass farms isnt great. The dificulty increases making ever so harder to find a deadline and whales gonna rake in most of blocks (if the whale on same pool as you at least you get some as well - but how many whales you think would go onto pool?). So mining 3 burst per day lets say is complete waste of electricity (unless you run some other miners or need your pc running all day).
Thats just my two cents. While its good for network lets be honest and admit that small miners gets screwed.
-
@crowetic @LithStud. correct me if i am wrong but i beg to differ when it comes to large mining rigs. it completely depends on what the person with this rig is planning to do with the burst they mined.
if the rig mines a lot of burst and immediately sells it on an exchange and sells it to people with bids already on it, rather than adding a sell order at a value higher than the price its sold at now then it will only push the price of burst down. however if the miner stores the burst or adds a sell order at a higher value then this wont happen as much. and the price should increase over time

Still lots of fully optimized plotting to go until this beast is mining like a rockstar! These are the brand spanking new HDD's that still are to be plotted, so until then... It's not ready for public love. There were a lot more at the start, been plotting 24/7 on monster rigs on location.
All HDD's are TOSHIBA MG03ACA400 4TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" ENTERPRISE Hard Drives (designed to get beat up 24/7 without a hiccup) Soon will take photos and make video showing the intense hardware including BEASTLY video cards, endless hubs
Insane amounts of top of the line pc components, probox's, oricos, etc. This baby is going to be lit up like a christmas tree real soon :)
Holy #*@$, that's what I'm talking about. Pretty serious stuff!
-
@Lexicon Exactly!!
I don't think we talked before but this is how I see it too. Very good perspective. The folks who are investing heavily in burst clearly sees value and (hopefully) will not flood the market with their newly mined burst (supply vs demand concept). On the other hand, if these BIG miners create assets (or other creative ways to re-invest) then I see this community flourishing even more.
-
@samreader1 And that is exactly what you will see happen. The guys doing larger projects are in it for the long run. Well, I may speak for Adam and myself on that.
There are several projects in the works to help anyone and everyone in the burst community.
-
@Focus I have faith, sir. I just wanted to say this out loud so our other friends also realize it. These are good initiatives that some of us are taking.
But I also understand that there will some confusion out there, which is fair. I think the BIG miners have to do their due diligence in being transparent and helping some of our other friends with their ventures.

Yes and in my case, you may ask any questions you deem pertinent on any of the projects I take on.

Im the guy with the carefully calculated vision and the bitcoin stacks to make the vision a reality. I have NEVER invested a penny into any mining operation before with hardware and all that. I clealy see Burst as a 100% solid project with massive profit projections throughout it's progression as a currency and platform. It is the only CryptoCurrency that I have found that easily appeals to everyone worldwide. This means it appeals to those in poor countries to individuals with only a mobile phone and no home computer, it appeals to both men and woman alike worldwide who are looking for a home based business/money making opertunity and it appeals to big investors who do not fully understand crypto, burst is not chuck full of nonsence and dreamy tech babble. To me, burst is a chance for the normal guy to get on the "bitcoin" train again, like back several years ago when it was worth pennies and pretty easy to run a program on your computer to generate it, then if you held onto it for a while you sold it and became a multi millionaire in most cases.
The people out there who have read all the btc to riches stories in the mainstream media, all wish they were there when btc was worth pennies! Now they get to hear about burst and how it is similar to bitcoin, being a crypto currency and actually having a real world purpose. They get to see that it is being used to pay for things, it is being used to trade for other coins and essentially has a USD dollar value! All that I seen missing when I started looking deeper into all the goings on with burst was a very powerful marketing force. So I stepped to the plate and did a lot to get the word out to my massive audience worldwide in crypto and mainstream which the results have been no less than stellar so far with a large amount of people getting onboard trading burst, mining burst and even joining forums like this one to say "hello, Adam G turned me on to this burst stuff in one of his videos or tweets I seen" All these posts I see allow me to guage my results when it comes to what I do best, Marketing.
Now that I clearly see without a doubt that there is a majorly profitable future ahead for Burst and the proper Mass Marketing is in place, I now need to hoard burst, millions upon millions of burst which are currently UNDERVALUED! This allows me to buy them up in chunks on exchanges and motivated me to go shopping and buy an intense amount of hardware to set up a big mining operation, I know down the road I will see a spectacular ROI and at the same time I can stimulate the community and burst's economy by offering those who do not have tens of thousands of dollars to buy top of the line hardware to set up a beast of a mining operation, to be able to get a piece of the action, through the asset exchange. Once all the HDD's here are fully plotted and hooked up to the beastly main computer that was built just for this and they are all mining, is when the asset becomes available to the public. There is nothing better than seeing an actual fully functioning mining operation and being able to get a piece of the action instantly on it, not having to invest and wait for it to be all setup after that.
It can and will only grow larger and larger from day one, I am not looking for the instant recovery of invested funds, if I was then I would simply sell burst constantly on exanges for bitcoin and if I did that I would pretty much have a heavy hand in killing the market, since I am hoarding constantly more burst. I want to sell a chunk my burst when it reaches over 500 sats and keep selling up the line along with buying the dips as well to sustain active trading and market stimulation overall. I will not suffer or go without if I do not sell my burst for btc, that is the important factor here and always is when the strong hands come into any hot market like this. I chose the person who I know has an incredible track record with IT matters, to set up all my hardware properly for the mining operation to ensure it runs smoothly and in an optimised fashion. That would be none other than @focus and without his brains I would have no clue on most of the techy stuff, he does enjoy making huge lists of hardware needed and adding those components to shopping carts for me to be only left with the "checkout" process. I am a true expert as clicking that big checkout button online and then waiting for the big brown boxes to arrive on the doorstep. While he satisfies his "unboxing" addiction everytime UPS passes by with those big brown cardboard boxes that are full of other boxes inside, I am at my desk working around the clock promoting bitcoin to the masses and burst to the masses, constantly devising plans of action to achieve my goals. The mass public out there do not realise it at this point but CryptoCurrency is our future however we already know that and are actively vested in our future, burst being a major part of that future where we ALL get to live the lifestyles we have dreamed of, true financial enrichment most in part due to us all being in the right place at the right time, just like all the 14 year old kids who mined and bought bitcoin back when it was laughed at by most and they became todays multi millionaires because they seen potential and took the plunge into the realm of crypto, when their friends were calling them nerds and telling them they were wasting their time with those silly bitcoins.
Well here we are, 2016 and we have people around us wondering why we are spending time and resourses with these silly Burst coins.... Well.. those clueless people will soon know why and will come on board late in the game after seeing us (the early adopters) making massive profit....They will get in at the peaks when we need them there, so we can sell them our BURST of course, at the highest price! They will be the ones flooding the gates of the exchanges to buy burst at super high amounts, scooping up our daily sell orders while we collect the big profits like true BOSSES!

Wow Adam that's a nice story you got there,
well i'm in bring that monster of terabytes ......;)
-
@AdamGuerbuez Dude you just told everything i wanted to ear LOL
I was one of these guys that found BURST because i watched one of your videos and i think you are doing a really good job maketing BURST!!! ;P
Looking forward to see how you and @Focus will release the asset you talked in there and i will be an investor almost for sure ;D
Keep up the good work guys?!
-
@AdamGuerbuez Wow, what a post ! You got me all hyped up hahaha.
One of the best things about this future asset is that it will be issued by a well known public figure who makes a living on his reputation in the crypto world. Meaning the chances of it being a scam are of a all time low.

Meaning the chances of it being a scam are of a all time low.Glad you are feeling the greatness that is to come with burst like I am! In crypto I learned a lot while getting my hands into as much as I possibly could over the years and most importantly learning through many dealings I have had with many great and not so great associates, on how to truly get things done and done right. In my early days just getting my feet wet in crypto, I was so eagar to be a part of this great movement of people who have a passion for freedom from all centralized control of their hard earned funds and assets. I seen so many un-tapped opertunities that were shining through but lacked proper leadership to get anywhere. I had people in the scene coming at me from all directions wanting to work with me etc, finding out the hard way that they just wanted to use my name and reach to bring attention to their endeavors that they only had temporary passion for and would quickly abandon when they found something they seen to be more attractive or profitable. I did not get consumed with the natural dissapointment that came out of such temporary relationships, instead I kept on innovating and mingling with others in the community that I seen to have good principles, the go-getters and the ones who are so dedicated to make their visions a reality. One fine example of that is @crowetic and the passion he always showed when we would have long talks with eachother, bouncing ideas off of eachother and sharing our passion for crypto. I seen the sheer amount of transparancy with burst and it's development as being unique and very impressive and the delivery of quality over quantity was always clear. Burst is made up of such a great community of developers, contributors and visionaries, real people with real solid goals who constantly dedicate their personal time to Burst without a second thought about it! I will continue to do all I can do to further the mass adoption of Burst as I do with Bitcoin very successfully and I know 100% that it will not be any time wasted or watching those closely involved abandoning their dedication to burst, all that has transpired thus far, speaks volumes about the incredible future that lay ahead for all of us that truly embrace the entire burst platform/coin.
-
@AdamGuerbuez You inspired a lot of us go getters.
-
@AdamGuerbuez we're waiting for the birth of this cute tiny lil baby of your Giant Burst machine...
I'm sure it would be the best day for most of us to buy the shares, and soon we're gonna see more "babies" to come to the Burst world, and yours is the firstborn Nephilim of Burst.
-
Gonna look pretty silly with all those hdd when burst crashes to nothing but I am sure there is plan B besides hdd sell good.
Explain to me how a massive mining operation helps me. I am also a part of the community!I helped the community by making a pool. I am not getting rich and might just might cover cost. I am giving more to the miners to invest in the burst system. I am not taking away from anyone unless you do this for profit. So 2 farms planned what does this mean to me? It means I will have to close cause 1 block a week will not satisfy 255 miners. It will force other pools to close too Where does this end? 2 mining farms to invest in period. Then Burstcoin turns into a investment coin cause its not minable! How many people will you lose? Burst had such potential. lol What the heck is the purpose of mobile mining?
Greed I see nothing but Greed!
-
@tross i agree with some of this.
ive been developing the pool software for about a month and aiming for a public release however if the difficulty rises so much where the pool is no longer paying for itself (as i pay for hosted services to run it) ill have to stop. as it would get to costly to even consider hosting a pool. currently i'm down on burst due to a giveaway to attract members, and payments for the hosted vps so currently its only just getting by.
@samreader1 whilst you are right. i'm also guessing that all the burst that is currently going to buy this new hardware is going to have to be converted to bitcoin at some point meaning its going to be sold on the market and a PB farm isn't cheap.
so technically it could be a double whammy. and with the way the value of burst is dropping its going to cost more and more burst to fund this operation.
i bet once all the coins have been mined and we are mining just fees, i could imagine that a PB farm would no longer be cost effective.
unless burst can gain a lot of interest between now and when this happens that might change.
however a PB farm mining on average 10-50 burst per block (transaction fees) isn't going to pay the people who invested as much.
in total theirs 523,785,123 burst left. valued at today's price that's only $279,177.47
as $25,000 has been invested in this asset that's a whopping 8.95% of the total value of burst left to mine. spent on a miner. meaning this miner would have to mine at least 9% of whats left to make back what's been invested. and this doesn't include the percentage the asset issuer will take and that's at today's price.judging by the calculator a PB will bring back 1,163 USD per month. meaning it will take at least 24 months to pay the investment back. and during these 24 months. the block reward will have dropped by 5% 24 more times. so the actual time to pay back such an investment would be far greater than this.
[EDIT]
Below are a few graphs detailing this Including 5% drop in reward
USD Cumulative Total Over Time based on 5.33 per 10k

Total Burst/Month Including 5% drop in reward

the above also doesnt account for increases in difficulty, Transaction Fees, and change in the value of burst.
but it shows it will take 16 years for it for ROI. unfortunately though threes only about a year or two left of mine-able burst. obviously if burst goes up in value this changes things.also the power cost of this isn't factored in. typically drives operate at between 3-9W times that by 100 drives. your running 900W.
900W over 16 years? that sounds like a fortune to me
but i could be looking at this the wrong way i guess.
-
I think, @crowetic will be the correct person to respond @tross & @Lexicon point of view....
As a newbie in Burst-world, I'm only enjoying the progress of Burst, while at the same time keep investing in Burst-assets.
