[SOLD-OUT] CCMINER_100TB new asset!

  • @vier23 I think you would need at least a Month, there is tremendous variability in the number of blocks you hit. With 80TB I average 2 blocks a Day, however it can be as high as 5 and I can go 3 Days without a Block...

I think the best way to compare is to Pool Mine for a good number of Weeks. Then count how many Blocks you mined and multiply by the Block Reward plus Fees, and see how they compare.

    Rich

  • @RichBC I understand. and I agree. You definitely need to mine for a longer period before being able to determine what's better. But since @ccminer is doing this for the asset, I don't think he wants to try solo mining for a full month before determining what works better for the asset/investors. I was just thinking 48 hours was too short. Maybe 72 hours, maybe a week. Will trust his decision regardless

Which is why I have suggested that instead of doing a live comparison he just adds up the historic data on the blocks he mined on the Pool and multiplies by the Block Reward Plus Fee and does a comparison that way.

On paper in the Long Run Solo should be better because there is no Pool Fee, however comparisons I have done have always been slightly better Pool Mining. I have various theories why but have not been able to confirm or quantify them. I suspect the main reason is that even a Month is not long enough given the variability of hitting blocks.

    Rich

  • @RichBC Ahh I understand you now. That seems like a smart (and quick) way to do it. Difficulty is obviosuly changing but it should be a good enough comparison. Good suggestion

  • @vier23 Changes in difficulty are not an issue so long as you use the correct Block Reward for the period you are doing the comparison over.

The only debatable point in a mathematical comparison would be pool down time and any resultant missed Blocks v any Solo mining related problems you might of had such as your Local Wallet getting on a Fork?

Bottom line is that I suspect there is not much to choose between them :-)

    Rich

  • @vier23 You are right I'll do 72 hours (3 days).
@RichBC I already did papaer calculations, with the block I mined and I compared with the pool reward I got and the solo I would have gotten. On the paper the solo was something like 1.5% more, so that's why when today we lost 6 + hours of mining for the pool glitch, and in 1 months it's the 3th already! (In total we lost 1 full day of mining because of pools issues), I decided that I wanted more control over this operations, and that it was time to try solo for real and not just on the paper.
Plus tomorrow, after the delay (I wrote above about it) I finally going to receive the last 10TB, so with full 100TB I'm sure (I hope I'm right) that the solo call is the one!
Not to mention that in few days I'm going to release CCMINER1000, and I'll add more TB (I'll write later how many for the launch) to the whole mining operation.

  • @ccminer, this user just recently bought some assets from you, any idea who it is? Miner name is Speed9044

  • @Focus nope!
When he bought, because I'm not selling units since 2 days already
    May I ask you why?

  • @ccminer yayaya congrats..I love this asset..roi is fabulous, thank you so much!

  • @RichBC @ccminer I support the decision real time data is the only way.

As for his wallet being stable I have faith in ccminer! He already took great steps to reduce the forking of his wallet. I will keep him updated on bad IP's when they pop up. So in this since he will have a more secure wallet than any of the pools or exchanges.

  • @crutsy
After I added the list of bad peers you provided me I faced no problems anymore, even if I think that the network glitch has been resolved in general!
Thank you for your will to keep me updated on bad IPs.

  • Great work!

Can we make it 200TB, or Perhaps more?

    I'll invest.

  • @lawandpipe thank you!
As I wrote already here in this thread, within few days I'm going to issue a new asset which goal will be reach 1 000TB. Just hold on a bit more ;)

I really don't think you should dump that much BURST... I am wholeheartedly against dumping that much BURST... you realize that 1000TB is a LOT of BURST, right?

Do you really think that it's a great idea to DUMP that much BURST to build this asset?

I mean, I respect you as a member of the community, but I'm wholeheartedly against doing this... we've been working very hard to build up the base level of BURST price... and doing this... with THAT much BURST... is going to drastically impact the price...

I would REALLY appreciate it if you were to do this, if you would please sell your asset in BTC, or something else...

You realize it would be 33 BTC worth of BURST?

Doing this in a smaller amount, is whatever, but this large of an amount... I'm wholeheartedly against it.

I don't know how others feel about this... but that's my opinion, and I know it's the opinion of others as well...

I mean, if we were at a thousand sat, I would probably be okay with it, but we're at 77...

  • Here's an image to show...

    alt text

This shows, you launched your asset on the 13th of November... Right after this there was a steady downtrend, when before that we had a floor above 120... Yes, BTC increase played a part here, but asset releases like this, that DUMP coins in order to buy hardware... in HUGE amounts... also contributed to the downtrend...

Doing this with 33 BTC worth of BURST, would have a MUCH larger effect.

I simply don't understand why we would encourage dumping a bunch of coins in order to build an asset of this size. I understood people backing smaller assets doing this, to a point... but IMO BURST cannot handle a 33BTC dump at this time.

I agree and was my main motivation, as opposed to price, in significantly investing in Adam's Mining Asset.

Perhaps to encourage this there needs to be a more formal mechanism to allow Burst Asset purchase in BTC, that then automatically makes the Asset trade-able in Burst?

  • @crowetic How dare you say I dump the price!
I do not even reply to this idiotic accusation!

There is something coming that will allow for direct BTC-BURST trades, in the near future.
