2.5" Drives vs 3.5" Drives

I have quite a lot of 2.5" drives at my that I could use in my setup. Are there any real significant disadvantages of using 2.5" drives as opposed to 3.5" drives?

If the are free no difference. I used an ssd before however I don't think they are built as reliable as the desktop drive. The work laptop I was bursting with died oops.

@rapidfireman Ok cool, its my understanding that Speed isn't really a major factor with burst so if I've got all these 2.5" drives I may as well use them right.

@tylerk07 If you've got them, use them. The only "issue" with 2.5" drives if you're buying is capacity - max capacity is always going to be in the 3.5" form factor. And also, 2.5" drives tend to be more expensive for the same capacity.
