What is going on here? O.o
I just have a midi atx tower with 10 drives inside + 6 drives external all behind the TV Screen. No dedicated GPU. Most of the coins I have I actually bought.
@luxe You are begging for cancellation of your subscriptions, lol.
I'm glad that the developers of Burstcoin are so much invested into it - also with hardware. Also the resell value is really high and there is a big demand for used drives, too.
This is madness. I start to think that the difficulty of the network is wrongly calculated.

What's the big white thing on the right for?? ;-)
-
@nixxda its so his drives would be always warm :D you know when a drive catches cold its no good :D
-
@LithStud LOL
-
or maybe it runs in reverse!-)

@gpedro A standard PC have default of 4 USB 3.0 hubs x 10 slots = 40 slots + 6 SATA slots. So, I'll get two PC's running and that should be it :)
But an i7 and crossfire GPUs can only do so much for 46 drives. I dont know what is what until I've tested it out :)
Yeah but that will be the USB 3.0 speed splitted by 10 drives xD
As far as i understood @luxe is reading his 90 HDD's from just one GPU and it reads super fast hahaha
-
Starting yet... only 1 external hd with 2 tb. Planning to get some more hd next year, but in brazil is hard to get cheap equipment.

-
@Fabioc Pretty much everyone, or at least here too hahaha I love it and continue to grow with us :D

@haitch hi, have you had any issues running Jminer, i have 16GB RAM is it enough? it runs out of memory/resources or its slower than the AVX miner. My GPU is XFX RX 480

The memory issues you had?! may be caused by Win7 cache handling ... jminer has no workaround like Blagos for that issue. So do not use jminer for high capacity on Win7. Due to your fast GPU i see no other reason for high memory usage with jminer.
-
@iKnow0 As Luxe said - it's more likely the Windows 7 caching issue, and there is no work around. Upgrade to 10 or use Blago's miner.
-
@haitch i'll try it with windows 8. thanks for the feedback
-
@RichBC holy read times batman! 10 seconds read on 70tb?! what cpu do you have and are they optimized!?
-
@goodplanets hahhaa! That's insane, right?
-
@goodplanets He said he was running with jMiner so he is using his GPU but he said he had a i7 on that PC on the picture xD
-
@goodplanets Yes as the post says it's a water cooled i7-4790k with 32GB RAM running jminer on a Sapphire R9-290X. Plots are not optimised, however I think I will only knock about a second off. :-)
However luxe is doing 282TB in 33 Seconds, now that is really fast.......

@RichBC Very Nice, and yes 200+TB in about 30 seconds is incredible as well!
I must learn the ways of this Jminer.

Here's my rig: (85)*tB - *in progress and constantly growing.
3.3mhz Intel single thread CPU (needs upgrading i think)
MSI Gaming Intel Skylake B150 LGA 1151 DDR4 USB 3.1 ATX Motherboard (B150 Gaming M3)
Nvidia GTX 970 GPU
TR2 RX 850W power supply
220 Solid state OS SDD
17 5TB Seagate Expansion External HDDs
1 cool case my friend Gooter gave me for my bday. :D
-
@goodplanets yeah, with 17 drives you definitely need more threads, or switch to jMiner.
-
@haitch Thanks, I figured as much... I'm using my gpu card to plot (constantly) so I think I'm going to upgrade to a nicer CPU.
