What the heck Am I doing wrong?
-
Okay, I have plotted over 12 TB just using my CPU and manual wplotter. Now that high capacity disks are coming, I plotted this particular hard drive with RX 480 8GB.
And this is what happens afterwards:

Do i have to replot it? The device txt 0 0 2048 256 4096 is good but is it because used 14946811813230596345_900000000_22888000_20000 as the code that it got f**ed up?
Please tell me how to make this right. Thank you very much.

@jervis Wooaaah! Screw waiting that long for a deadline! haha ;)
-
@jervis Hi man :), ok let's see if it's corrupted. Firstly plotcheck it. Does the error 1007 appear each round? Also try with another miner, let's see how it handles this plot...
Another thing: 22888000 is not divisible by 20000, but it shouldn't be a great problem...

Another thing: 22888000 is not divisible by 20000, but it shouldn't be a great problem...it says the 20000 is not divisible by 64. Maybee that's it. I did plotcheck already.
I will just replot it. 12 hours wasted on this. But it's a learning tool :)

@jervis
Try these parameters in devices for rx480: 0 0 8192 64 8192
worked with me like charm
-
@jervis The number of nonces must be divisible by the stagger and the stagger must be divisible by 64, both things, but these shouldn't be the causes of your probs (error 1007).
However replot it's heavy, but it should fix...
Maybe, if you want, try lowering the starting nonce (900M is very high): I don't know if the program have probs with that...EDIT: @jervis Oh yes, I tried it, this stagger problem causes error 1007...
-
@jervis Your problem is because the stagger has to be a multiple of 8 (or 64 xD) and ofc the number of nonces has to be a multiple of the stagger... xP
Replot is the only fix, i'm sorry?! x(

okay got it. Thank you guys. I'm in the process of reploting right now. :)

-
@jervis 24,000
If you have better setup please share it coz I have 4x 8TB waiting to be plotted
-
@rnahlawi i have 26k with my setup on buffer mode
-
@jervis yeah .. about that, I used the buffer mode and then found that "Direct" mode create plots optimized so I re-plotted all my drives with direct mode and I got better results in mining
-
I need to perfect this gpuplotting or i am dead when the hard drives our asset bought arrives.
-
@jervis I'm not expert here, but from my experience, I recommend going with Direct mode.
Drives P & O plotted using wplotgenerator
Drive R plotted with GPUplotter with Buffer mode
Drives Y & Z with GPUMiner Direct mode@haitch was great support in this
-
@rnahlawi what's ur processor?
-
@jervis I7 6700k and 2x moded RX480s
-
@rnahlawi this is already gpu assisted? Usb3.0?
-
I just realized.... z? Wtf man! Haha awesome
-
@jervis NAS drives, check the seek times and know they are all same capacity (8TB)!!
That's why i'm re-plotting with direct mode
plot optimizer is out of the question, coz you need same space on different drive
