Local Wallet now not working
-
Hey thanks. What's your pool man?
I really don't know how to fix the plots, especially when the plotschecker says it's all okay?
-
lol me and lex both responded about the same time
-
@Baron http://burst.lexitoshi.uk/#
yeah we did lol
-
@Njcfamily31907 said in Local Wallet now not working:
thats because your plots are all starting at the same point
10400995181240832668_600000001_**********
try creating plots along these lines:
10400995181240832668_0_442368_4608
10400995181240832668_442369_2198656_4608
10400995181240832668_2198657_1153152_4608this way everything is inline and there is no overlapping nonces in the file
Sorry for the noob question but how do I change it? Do I have to do the whole plotting thing all over again?
-
@Baron yes delete the smallest plots and replot the rest
-
Those are massive chunks of plots..hah
Back to square one huh..
-
it happens to the best of us
-
Well, why did it happen in the first place? You leave the HD running and that's that.
-
just rename 2 of them.
Change the first number 6 to 4 and the other to 5.600000001
500000001
400000001Start mining and later on you can plot new plots in between these
-
Damn..feel like a total noob..
This is highly embarrassing..
-
@Burstde
Renaming doesn't change the same content of the plot files. If you haven't meant it this way, forget this post.... renaming will simply trick the plotchecker to give you a false positive that everything is okay.
-
@daWallet i was about to say the same thing but you beat me to the punch XD.
renaming the plot doesnt change the nonces that underwent the SHABAL256 that was done on the plot file or any of the hashes in the file
-
Yeah I figured so much. It's already plotted. The imprint is already there. Changing numbers does nothing.
I'm simply learning the hard way. Anyone else reading this, don't make the same mistake I did.

file: 10400995181240832668_600000001_2198656_5696 checked - OK
file: 10400995181240832668_602198657_770048_512 checked - OK
file: 10400995181240832668_602968705_802368_1344 checked - OKSeems okay now with the plots.
My Local Wallet is still on a quarter.
So might join fellow UK mining Corp Lexicon..
Question: If I want to start mining do I do it from Online Wallet or Local?
Both are not synced, and my online wallet shows everything I have. I want to continue to dl the blockchain on local wallet, if I am on online version does it continue to dl?
-
@Baron re:about the db unzip issue, you might try a different archiver to unzip it, winrar works for me but ideally you should use the same one that created it. It may or may not work but its worth a try.
-
Hi thanks for reply. I'm not sure what the original zip file was zipped with.
-
@Baron ask daWallet i think he creates it.
-
now don't forget to run your optimizer sir! lol
-
@Bkewlbro Thanks for the tip. I'm ordering more hd so I can do so..
-
Seriously, this is so amazing. It feels like the gold rush of the late 19th century.
I just got into this out of nowhere days ago and am mining for digital gold...
Wow!
