How fast can this PC plot 8 TB?

@Gibsalot hey i was just looking at that Mob setup on ebay.
Thanks all great information

@iKnow0 Nice! That's why I want a RX 480! Need to get one soon! Planing to expand my mining farm soon! Currently at 23TB right now! :-)
Thanks,

@DrTrouble on the 8tb drive do you have one plot then? On mine I have several 440gb's. I recognize the name so you probably are getting more blocks then me.

@Burstde its not to bad what i like about it is the cpu 8320e is an 8 core cpu but its only 95w compared to all the other 125w or 220w beast i was looking at ... i cant push the limits for long periods of time witch in burst is not an issue unless you are ploting with cpu

@CesBurst1782 this might be of interest http://wccftech.com/amd-rx-480-4gb-retail-cards-8gb/

@Gibsalot The R7 240 2gb is $56.new however compared to the 950ti they are really close, The 750ti compares better however when you use nvidia for plotting heard nvidia under performs but still works.
i5 560m (laptop) using 3 cores to plot 880gb and at 12 hour mark 37 percent 1931 avg nonces

@Burstde i always been an AMD guy .. former gamer lol . the R7 240 2gb is what i have right now over clocked it a bit and made sure it has plenty of air flow.

@iKnow0 Interesting! Thanks! :-)

My 7970 took 9 hours to plot a 2TB HDD.

@mterrenal how much nonces is that per/min?

I have read dozens of threads about GPU plotting where Nvidia people like me seem to be having the same problem, and where AMD users get insane speeds. Nvidia users get various errors that are often "solved" by reducing the Max hashes number to a very low figure. In my case, my GTX 860M gives me a whopping 1520 nonces per minute, which is about 6500 nonces per minute lower compared to what my i7 CPU can pull. I am aware that direct mode GPU plotting also optimizes at the same time, but it is definitely going extremely slow.
Could an Nvidia user who has made their plotting succeed please give some advice?
Could AMD users please post an examples of their devices.txt?
