My local wallet stopped syncing and my miner got stuck on a block
-
My Blago MIner stopped advancing blocks and was 110 blocks behind when I woke up this morning. The only thing I can figure is my local wallet stopped syncing as I was solo mining. I restarted the computer and signed back in to the local wallet but no dice. Any thoughts or recommendations?

Ok, I'm hearing crickets... My local wallet is still stuck on a block, I am going to try to find and redownload the DB file thinking maybe it corrupted...

When I connected to a pool everything was working correctly. I hate pool mining because I keep getting deadlines that don't confirm and I miss out on good deadlines. So the problem has to be with the local wallet.
-
@mcchurchmouse how big is your tb and which pool are you on?
-
18.1 TB and pool.burst-team.us

Thank you for the link, I had not seen that before. I was unable to find the pop function but something worked anyway and my wallet seems to be updating regularly again... Any idea if this will happen regularly now that it has happened? I lost almost a whole night of mining!

NVM, problem not fixed...

Now my bloody local wallet won't let me log in. "Your local wallet hasn't start yet..." grrr...
-
For anyone else following this, it appears my blockchain was corrupted because when I deleted the db files i was able to log into the local burst wallet immediately. I am so frustrated right now I want to cry...
-
Nope, still stuck and the popOff method isn't working either.

Ok, deleted the wallet and all associated files. Redownloaded a new copy and a new DB blockchain file. I have the blockchain current, now to see if it keeps updating. I sincerely hope this helps at least one other person, I've tried to document my problems for that reason...

@mcchurchmouse Sorry to hear you had the trouble. I have 2 computers right next to each other and same configs. One never lets me get a Local wallet and the other does. pool.burst-team.us is overcrowded so that may be another reason you are not hitting blocks. You have a larger plot but are 1 in 1000 on the shares etc. I tried mining there and got less than I get at smaller pools. I am over at pool.burstmining.club and I hit 2-4 blocks a day and 2-3 payouts to boot. 40TB / 2 computers.

Have you considered solo mining? It seems to me to be the way to go. In a 60/40 pool you see 1581 burst in a perfect scenario, commonly less. That is an awful lot to expect from historical shares. If you get 3 payouts of 300 and hit 4 blocks at perfect 1581 you are still down quite a bit. For each block you hit you need to make up ~1050 burst because solo mining you get the whole block. Times four blocks you need to make up ~4200 burst of which you say you make up 900 in your three daily payouts. Four blocks hit a day should pay you 10,540 minus a few for fees. Just a thought. Now if you can't access the local wallet on one machine then you are out of luck for solo mining but that's here nor there... Please correct me if I'm missing something because I'm off solo mining an 18.1TB plot against common convention.
