Windows Client 0.3.5
- fixed 'socket errors'
- fixed formatting of market cap
- added new pools
- minor improvements and bugfixes
You can just install the new version over the old one. Deinstall is not necessary.
http://sourceforge.net/projects/burstwindowswallet/
Fun fact: Now the Market Cap Info in the footer will display up to $ 99,999,999. You are welcome try to break it. ;-)

Hi @daWallet,
Could you please add TomPool to the pools list? The Uray interface is at http://mining.tompool.org:82 and mining is on port 8124 @ http://mining.tompool.org. Support is through http://tompool.org or the forums at http://forum.tompool.org.
Cheers,
Tommo.

Hello, as I am sure you can tell I am new to the forum. I found out about BURST from Adams video and have been very excited to start. Unfortunately it has been one hurdle after another. What I am wondering, is there a way to change the directory that the the burst_bd resides in? I would like to store the file on an external drive because I do not have enough room on the laptops HD to have the file. It was downloading the database over night but stopped due to low HD space.
-
@CaveManJoe29 then use the portable version. You can find it on github, website and sourceforge.
-
I have done this by making a symlink to another location. Works like a charm.
In a command window you could type this:
ren %appdata%\BurstWallet\burst_db %appdata%\BurstWallet\burst_blockchain mklink /J %appdata%\BurstWallet\burst_db "D:\Data\Crypto\Burst\Blockchain" copy %appdata%\BurstWallet\burst_blockchain\*.* %appdata%\BurstWallet\burst_db\*.* rmdir %appdata%\BurstWallet\burst_blockchainIt renames the current directory holding the blockchain to burst_blockchain,
then creates a symbolic link named bust/db pointing to "D:\Data\Crypto\Burst\Blockchain" (enter your path on another disk here),
then copies the files from the renamed directory to the location used by the symlink,
then deletes the empty burst_bloackchain folderEnjoy your free space on your system drive :)

To update just run the install. You don't have to de-install the old version. Update is not obligatory.
-
@daWallet what is the expert mode?
-
@jervis choose stagger, choose start nonce and async mode.
-
@daWallet wow! Finally. That is a really great help. Thanks a lot.
